I bought my fiance a S&W 38 Centennial J-frame and she loves it but struggles with the trigger pull. I was hesitant to attempt this trigger modification, although I'm fairly mechanical and built models as a youth. The video on their website was incredibly helpful and I simply watched each step, paused it and repeated it on my end. With proper tools like the bench block, shank tool and polishing kit, I was able to get this done in about 45 minutes. Just make sure you keep the parts organized during disassembly and don't misplace anything... oh, and don't overtighten during reassembly. I thought I had an issue with alignment while pulling the trigger before all of the housing screws were tightened, but once it was assembled correctly it's even smoother than before. My lady loves it now and feels even more confident shooting. Thanks M-Carbo... another great product!
