The spring kit was easy to install on the Ruger LCP2 Max. Much easer than the LCP2. Made a much easer and smoother trigger pull.
I replaced the springs and used the 12 lb. hammer spring. Also replaced the guide rod and trigger at the same time. All parts appear to be of high quality. Installation was fairly simple by using the installation videos. The trigger change eliminated the dreaded finger pinch that all LCP’s caused.
Very easy to install with video, went from over 8lbs down to 4.5lbs trigger pull and it is easier to rack the slide glad I took the time to upgrade.
Much better trigger feel and hammer sound.
Video is great, everything worked great, reduce pull, no ping Fast shipping always, highly recommended
I initial installed the 10lb hammer spring to obtain the maximum reduction in trigger pull. Un fortunately it didn't work. I only had 3 out of 10 detonations on the magazine. I disassembled, cleaned and verified installation. Went to the range and first 3 fired off, but then light primer strikes on the next 10 rounds. I disassembled and installed the 12 lb spring and now the gun fires everything it is fed. Overall I am satisfied with the performance using the 12 lb spring, but disappointed that the 10 lb spring doesn't work.
I originally installed the 10 pounds speing originally, but unfortunately, too many light strikes and I had to replace it with a 12 pound spring which worked perfectly??💖
I got the max on Monday and installed the kit on Tuesday. Like many of my guns I buy I don’t shoot until I put the upgrades in. Same in this instance. I don’t know what it would have shot like before installing the kit. I also installed the new flat trigger kit at the same time. I can say the dry fire noise was horrendous very noisy. So glad I changed that. It is now quieter and with a smoother trigger pull. I did however notice that firing the weapon I need to squeeze the weapon firmly in my hand or I will get a none fired round. Now holding firmly I can rapid fire without a problem. Like always I feel my upgrades like these has made me a better weapon.
Definitely smooths things out. No funny boing sound when dry firing. Feels legit. Fantastic install video.
An absolute must have upgrade!!
I purchased this spring tuning kit for my Ruger LCP ll 380. I reduced the trigger pull weight by 2.5 to 3 lbs. It greatly improved my overall performance and manageability of my Ruger. I will highly recommend this kit for any Ruger LCP.
If you want the best possible experience you should swap your spring kit and trigger out. This is a very simple process that makes a world of difference to the trigger pull and reset.
Thanks to the heroes at MCarbo, my wife is overjoyed at the new, easy trigger action on her firearm. She's small framed and small handed. The OEM spring was hard to bear down on and still maintain front sights on the target. With the spring replacements, she is now able to easily pull the trigger and maintain her sight picture. And the install video made it easy for this non-mechanically inclined, non-gun-smith husband to be able to swap the springs out for her. Overall very good experience!
The difference is trigger pull weight and feel is night & day! After reading reviews of this spring kit, I automatically opted for the 12lb spring over the 10lb, as there were many reports of light primer strikes with the 10lb. So, I expected to have a minimal change in trigger pull. Boy, was I wrong! Nobody can believe this is the same gun as before. My accuracy was garbage prior to this upgrade, primarily due to the amount of force required to pull the trigger. It's by no means a hair-trigger, but feels like it should from the factory. Also to note, I did previously replace the trigger, recoil spring, and guide rod with another brand. While those upgrades helped somewhat, they were nothing compared to the change made by this spring kit. The installation video was also great! Thanks M*Carbo for transforming my summer EDC into something I can count on!
Put the springs in and the HARD cross pen. Was told that things might be ruogh feeling for a mag or 2 . 2 Mags and I was in HEAVEN.
