Using the video, I spent more time taking and reassembling my trigger group than I did installing the spring. Video was great and trigger feels so much better.

Easy install, quickest way to reduce that heavy SKS trigger!

Very easy to install! If you know how a hammer works and have a punch set, you can do this. You will definitely notice the decreased trigger pull. Definitely worth it. Customer support is also awesome. Great product, great company!

These springs took my unissued, cosmoline caked 9 pound trigger that was abominable to a 4.5 pound squeeze that enables my tired eyes to shoot 2-12 MOA at 100 meters. I recommend this kit if you have an SKS! These rifles are much more accurate with a decent trigger, and are milled durable weapons that last- so invest the 15 bucks and smile at the improvement you’ll experience. This Yugo 59/66 throws wolf steel cased (copper jacket) into 3 1/2 inches at 150 meters, open sights. So even cheap ( is any ammo cheap now?) shoots well. I am very happy with the MCARBO kit. Good Shooting to all!

Essential for the sks

I just received my SKS spring kit fast shipping and good communications all the way through. I have a Yugo SKS with a factory trigger pull of 6 lb 8 oz. After removing the trigger group and cleaning it I replaced the spring put it back together and now have a smooth pulling light weight trigger, 3 lb 2.9 oz.

I am impressed, can't wait to go shooting!

Excellent purchase!

I recently purchased these springs for my sks and I doubt I could be any happier about it. It is so much easier to release the mag now. Buy this if you own an sks and you will be as happy about it as I am.

Excellent results!

The quality of the spring is excellent. The spring was light enough to provide a noticible decrease in trigger pull, but not too light that it would cause malfunctions. Replaced the spring on a Chinese Norinco SKS. Original trigger weight was 5.5 lbs using an antiquated wheeler spring scale. The trigger weight decreased to just shy of 4.0 lbs after installation of the MCARBO sear spring. The trigger pull is notibly lighter and much crisper. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the feel of their stock SKS trigger.

The only issue during installation was that of the Norinco sear pin. I had to press the pin free from the trigger housing using an AK sight tool and modified the pin for easier re-installation.

However that is typical of a Norinco SKS.

I grew up shooting the sks and having to deal with the slop and heavy trigger. I got good enough to shoot bottle caps when tossed in the air. Now 25 years later shooting my sks's daily drop in this 2.5 lbs trigger it is beyond smooth, I can feel and anticipate the sear dropping to the point I am not only better with my shots but follow up. I took it out to the range after I installed it and was finally able to dial in cleaner tighter groups at 100. Went from a pie plate at 100 to now a clean 1/2 in apart group. Thanks Mcarbo you bright life back into shooting my sks. I will be trying more of your products very soon.

Good springs but that's only half the solution

These springs reduce the trigger pull as advertised, and they also make it easier to release the magazine, but they're only half the solution to a good trigger pull. The other half comes from proper attention to the way the hammer makes contact with the top of the sear. Check out you tube video by Canadian_Tactical, called the SKS trigger job

I bought these springs to lighten the trigger on my soviet made sks. They made a noticeable improvement over the stock sear spring. Have 100 rounds through the gun since swapping springs and not a single trigger malfunction. One recommendation I would make for the best results is polish and shorten the sear bar (you can find videos on how to do this online or take it to a gunsmith if you are not confident in your own abilities.)
