This is a huge improvement over the stock one that comes in it the gun.Also added a Franklin Armory bfsiii pc-c1 binary trigger and with the increased cyclic of fire figured this was cheap insurance just in case. Literally have everything that can be added to the Charger pistol between mcarbo F/A and tk.Got to say this is a fun little pistol.

Installing this extractor on my Ruger PCC fixed my stove pipe issues. It eliminated my every other round malfunction to zero for over 100 rounds. Video on replacing it was great too.
Purchased an M carbo tool steel extractor for my Ruger PC carbine when my factory one showed wear & many FTE's. This new & improved TOOL STEEL 5 weeks & less than 500 rounds. Factory part lasted over a year. How is this new & improved. Waiting for M carbo to reply about the quality of their parts.
Recently, after about 500 rounds, my PC Charger started to Stove Pipe quite frequently - annoying ! I immediately went to MCarbo looking for a fix & found some videos Chris made addressing the short comings of Charger mass production. I upgraded my Charger & no more problems, now I'm happy as a pig in sh*t. I upgraded the following & suggest you consider them too. Replaced with Exact Edge Extractor,A2 Tool Steel Bolt head/Extractor Pin kit, Shock Buffer Pad & Stainless Recoil Spring Retainer. The install videos are detailed & clear. Now my Charger is the way it should have been. Extremely fun to shoot !
I replaced my brand new/unfired PC Charger Extractor with this piece, so I have no comments on the difference in performance. But I did immediately test the pistol, and it was flawless. I did notice how "rounded" the factory piece was in comparison, even being new. The beginning of the "notch" was reasonably sharp, but where it lifts up again, it was just rounded. The MCARBO piece has much finer detail and is much better metal.
Easy to install. So far only tested on snap caps, but seem to eject cleanly without issue. Service by the way was great by these folks!
Very well made, a huge advantage over the stock extractor. This thing is a case slinger.

When first started taking my PC Charger out to the range, I had a few stove pipe incidents and was getting a bit disappointed. However, I decided to replaced the factory extractor with the Exact Edge Extractor,A2 Tool Steel Bolt head/Extractor Pin kit, Shock Buffer Pad & Stainless Recoil Spring Retainer. All the installations were made extremely easy thanks to the great install videos. Right away all these upgrades made an incredible difference on my PC Charger, no more stove pipes, rapid fire feels better and the overall felt recoil has been reduced! I love my PC Charger and how it handles now!!!
