easy day
I installed this along side the trigger spring upgrade. Easy Day!! works and feels great! thanks MCARBO for awesome install videos.
Must buy
This plus the spring kit makes my 509T run like a cheetah hopped up on that booger sugar.
509 striker
Does this drop pull weight on the trigger???
Great replacement striker
I had been running the apex heavy duty striker. I had also replaced all my springs with the mcarbo lighter springs except one. The combination of the light striker spring and the heavy striker was causing light strikes. Now with this titanium one I am able to run the light striker spring with no failures. If you want one of the best striker fired trigger pulls run the apex trigger and sear with mcarbo springs and striker. I have never came across a better feeling striker fired trigger pull. That says quite a bit because out of the box the 509s trigger is not good in comparison to most.
FN 509 titanium Striker replacement
I replaced my Apex Striker with the MCARBO Striker and I love it!
can you please describe what change in trigger characteristics expected with the installation of your new striker assembly (sans spring kit) ?
Improved wall? Break? less striker creep? The FN stock set up is an overpriced disappointment - looking to make some sort of improvement before just giving up entirely on this pistol - would also install your spring kit - but wondering what the striker will do on its own thanks a bunch
Will the striker also work in the FNS 40C? That gun was the predecessor to the 509C and then share many of the same parts and mechanicals. Please advise.
