Solid Upgrades
I have a new LCP Max 75th Anniversary Edition (stainless slide). Initially, before any upgrades, I put 100 rounds of mixed ammo (FMJRN, FMJFN, Sig Elite 90gr JHP & Underwood 68gr XD) through it and the gun performed flawlessly. Recoil was a bit snappy, as expected, but entirely manageable. I decided to add the Galloway 13lb outer recoil spring and stainless guide rod. Took it to the range and put another 50 rounds (mixed) and the gun again performed without issues. The heavier recoil spring did make a noticeable difference in recoil. Still know I'm shooting a micro lightweight pistol, but double-taps were quicker since muzzle rise is reduced. The stainless guide rod also looks good with the stainless slide. These upgrades are definitely worth considering and make a fine pistol even better.
Used with the #12 spring
Works great. Used with the 12 lbs. spring.
Easy Install
Super easy to install thanks to video on this site.
Amazing
With all the upgrades, it significantly improved the pistol. IMO use the 12lb spring, the 10lb one is too light for carry and doesn't feed all types of ammo. The 12lb spring gave me an average trigger pull in the mid-4lb range. The upgraded trigger can be set to have almost no travel, which was my issue with the stock gun. It also has a more noticeable reset than the stock trigger. It eliminates the annoying metallic "ping" sound when dry firing as well. From a non-gunsmith (but someone who tinkers) the video provided by this company is easy to follow. Make sure you buy the correct loctite and punches before disassembling the gun though. Just spend the extra money and get everything, feels like a pro tuned performance center gun now. Also, if you are replacing the recoil spring, make sure to put the original INNER spring back into the gun. The stock gun uses 2 recoil springs and the upgrade is only the outer spring.
stopped feeding properly
Try to imagine the sick feeling of an everyday carry gun that can only shoot one or two bullets before it jams and is hard to clear.
That is the state of my Ruger LCP Max after installing the M*Carbo trigger, spring kit, takedown pin, guide rod, and recoil spring. I used the 10lb spring.
I followed the videos very carefully. I used all the right tools, and dry firing is smooth.
It is more accurate than before, but out of 9 attempted rounds, 3 failed to load all the way into the chamber, and one was seated in the chamber, but the hammer was not cocked.
I had to drop the mag to clear the three that jammed on the ramp.
zero malfunctions
I have 2 Ruger LCP Max pistols. They are prone to malfunctions more than it should and since it is my EDC... thats not great. Since I installed this simple spring (and the stainless steel rod)... zero malfunctions after 300 rounds! I bought a few more. Thanks guys!
PS- I have no idea why Ruger doesnt use these springs or something similar... it is a common problem
LCP Max Recoil Spring
Added the Recoil Spring, Take Down Pin and Guide Rod before I ever shot this little pistol. The Recoil Spring is a great upgrade and will definitely make recoil from stouter round less of a burden on your little pistols frame/internals. Well worth the price of admission. I have always upgraded recoil spring whether it is in my rifles or pistols, about one of the the best upgrade you can do.

Does this "Extra Power" recoil spring affect operation with standard pressure ammo?
How does this compare to the 13lb Galloway recoil spring in terms of pounds. OEM is 9 lbs if I’m not mistaken? So is it 10.35 lbs of recoil racking pounds?
