Sig Sauer P320 Short Stroke Flat Trigger Upgrade (and spring kit)
installed this trigger upgrade along with the spring kit into a gen1 XFIVE P320 without issue. followed the excellent online videos. this along with the springs provided a huge upgrade over the stock flat trigger on all fronts (take-up, wall, pull weight, reset, etc). weight avg was 4lb13oz before / 3lb3oz after (34% reduction)
the only confusion i had with the trigger was during live fire; setting the pre-travel and over-travel solely from the video instruction resulted in the gun not resetting properly / consistently. after re-reviewing the video and seeing there was iteration required i did that and got it working flawlessly. it took about 5 iterations backing out both screws. i also noted changing only 1 screw without a commensurate adjustment on the other was causing the reset problem to come back. i would say from max, i backed both screws out 1 to 1.5 full turns to get everything running right in my gun.
i'm sure with the passage of time and all of the design iterations to the P320 line over the years, all guns will have slightly different personalities. all in all it worked great. embrace the journey. i do need to go back and do the M*Carbo polish job on this gun to improve it even more.
Outstanding upgrade for my EDC P320
FIrst, the company customer service is the best. I have purchased a number of items from M Carbo and always pleased with the service. The P320 flat trigger is a great addition to my pistol. I have used other brands and after doing a bunch of research (including a YouTube video where a number of aftermarket triggers were tested and the results charted) I decided to go with the M Carbo trigger. The over travel is non-existent and the adjustable take-up as well. The trigger breaks at a consistent 4.5 pounds. This replaced my Apex forward set trigger bar with the Sig skeleton trigger. Trigger control is probably the most important element of accurate shooting. The attached picture demonstrates what the firearm is capable of with the MCarbo trigger. 25 rounds were fired at 15 and 25 yards, including the. head shots.
MUST HAVE!
Hell yeah MCarbo! Solid work! Very happy with the product! Quick shipping. Noticed a huge difference with both trigger and spring set upgrades. Thank you all for your continued service.
320 trigger
I've got the Apex, Grays, Armory Craft and the Mcarbo... well actually now I have 3 of the Mcarbo's .. and the rest (while nice enough ) sit in my parts bin... pulled all the others out of my guns and switched them to the Mcarbo(with spring kits) .. crazy lack of pretravel and short reset .. all the guns are under 3lb pulls ... getting ready to order another Mcarbo trigger for the new FCU thats on the way .... (email me for a deal on all the other triggers.. they will never be going back in any gun I own.. lol)
Excellent Trigger
Having tried some factory and other 3rd party solutions before, I can say with confidence MCarbo's trigger is in the league of its own. Quality is excellent, installation is as straightforward as it can be, you may just end up fiddling with the reset spring a bit. I really like the fact it includes a 3D-printed piece for initial screw setup, a nice touch.
Trigger itself was installed on a factory FCU that had to go through the voluntary upgrade program, and I am happy to report there was/is no issues. Breaks exactly at 90 degrees as advertised, and the pull itself feels more pronounced, instead of the typical "rolling" SIG feel.
10/10 would buy again.
Crispy
This trigger upgrade is nice. I installed it on a custom works fcu which had a pretty low trigger weight, 3.5 lbs. I used the spring kit as well and together it reduced trigger pull weight slightly but improved the feel of the trigger overall. I think it’s right around 3 lbs now and very crispy reset. Note it is still a p320 trigger so you can only do so much but great improvement.
So clearly better than the stock trigger
I liked the stock X trigger compared to many other stock triggers. It was fine. But the more I watched reviews on YouTube the more I was convinced to have better. Once I did the adjustments with the screws it was clearly better in the right ways to the stock trigger without seeming to much like a race gun. Still have yeet to test it at the range so I hope the screws don't walk at all. I used blue lock tight and it's set.
New Trigger
Really nice new trigger. Helps with the uptake on the pull as well as the reset on the trigger. Happy with how it works and would do it again.

Yes, it will. In our Product Information section you will be able to see all the P320 models this trigger is compatible with.
Is the trigger upgrade as big of a difference on the p320 vtac ?
The P320 VTAC has Sig's standard x-series flat trigger so yes, you will be able to significantly reduce your pre-travel and over-travel with this P320 trigger upgrade.
Dont hate me, new to SIG, and want to make sure it'll work in my gun, but will this trigger work in the new SIG XTEN fire control unit?
It should be perfect for the perfect caliber.

I have just purchased a new P320 M18 so I know it is the updated version. My question is would it be possible to disable any of the new internal safety features by installing the flat trigger , say like maybe the drop SAFTY or others?
Thanks!!
Our trigger is drop tested according to SAAMI Standard Z299.5 rating (12" & 48").
Since installing trigger, I've had several light primer strikes. Has anyone else had this issue

Has anyone complained of, light primer strikes. Thought it was just one of the two boxes of ammo I was using. Cleaned gun and shot it again yesterday. It continues to have light primer strikes on different brands of ammo
