When it comes to armorer work, having the right tools is essential. That's why we're proud to offer this Armorer Punch Set, a well-crafted set of punches in three commonly needed sizes - 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8".
Each punch in this set is made from industrial-grade tool steel, alloy steel that is known for its exceptional hardness and durability. Each punch is manufactured on a computer-controlled lathe to ensure repeatable quality and accuracy, and then use an automated, infra-red-controlled heat treatment process to optimize the tool's quality and performance.
To ensure that the Armorer Punch Set stays in top condition, a rust-preventative nickel-plated coating is applied to the steel. This additional protection makes this punch set a must-have for any armorer or gunsmith.
These three punches are some of the most common sizes needed for any firearms project, making them a valuable addition to your gunsmith tools list. This Armorer Punch Set is an essential tool for any armorer, providing a precise and reliable way to work on firearms.
Good quality
One of the three punches arrived with a bent tip, knowing the material is hardened and likely to break if stretched past its narrow arc of elasticity I gently and slowly bent it back to straight. No issues and it worked great to install my trigger abs spring kit.
Perfect set for pistols, rifles and shotguns, etc.
Got tired of using punches from my tool boxes so bought these as a dedicated set for gun work. They are perfect for
removing and chasing pins and everything else they're designed for.
People buy the cheap chinese versions on ebay, amazon and harbor freight and think they save money. They don't.
Not only are they handing money to the communist chinese that helps support their military complex that we will one
day have to face, but chinese tools don't have anything near the quality and longevity of American made tools.
Buy American once instead of buying chinese 3 times. You're not spending more, you're saving more. FK China.
Great set of punches
Replacing the smaller Wheeler Engineering Carbon Steel punches with these. The old ones bent with little force. These are already proving their worth with knocking pins out of a Marlin Model 60 bolt, Remington 870 bolt (2 so far) and a Winchester Model 25 bolt; all without bending.
Great Punches
Nice set of simple punches.
Hit me
The punch set worked very well. Some of the pins on my CZ required a more firm "finesse", even so they did not bend. My only regret is not purchasing the hammer. that would've been a good addition to my tool set and made it easier to install the spring set.
My only suggestion is, included the hammer. Unless you already have it.
good set for my needs
Not a big selection of course but this is mainly the sizes I need. I wanted something that was not as soft as the previous set I bought at a store that sells cheap tools. Better a few good ones than a lot of cheap ones.
Do these have the “roll pin point”?
No, these do not have a roll pin on them, they are flat punches.
