Just do it , works beautifully
Took me about 1 hour a little bit of frustration. However, overall went very smooth. I. Also changed out the recoil spring, I went and shot 100 rounds clearly a softening of the recoil. Which was always a problem with the Kimber micron. Accuracy improved dramatically with the softer trigger pull. Ps...first time I completely took apart any gun and it went great.

my micro 9 stainless was made in 2020 . love the gun but the pull was really heavy. i didn't shoot it much and didn't carry it at all. this kit reduced trigger pull iby at least half if not a little more and made such an improvement that i'm carrying my micro 9 everyday now. Thank you!

It improved my groups tremendously. My new Kimber Micro 9 was pulling out of the box average of 7.6. I would struggle to hit anything with that trigger. Now it pulls around 3.5 and I am keeping this awesome bang, bang!

Kimber Micro 9 Springs
I was able to put in the Kimber Micro 9 3 spring kit in under an hour. I also put in the Galloway 22lb flat recoil spring and trigger return spring. M-Carbo rules I got 3.2 lb and no FTL after 60 115 grain rounds. I put the M-Carbo flat trigger and other stuff on my Sig P365 X Macro Comp and the same results. Great products, great install videos and fast shipping. IF YOU HAVE A KIMBER MICRO 9 YOU HAVE TO GET THE M-CARBO SPRING UPGRADE KIT.....

A good trigger made great
4lb 1oz. This trigger kit was an excellent modification for my Kimber Micro 9 Rapide Dawn. The stock trigger was a little heavy for me. The MCARBO kit fixed that and I feel that my Micro 9 feel great.
This is a DIY kit, but I decided to have the specialists at MCARBO polish the internal parts and complete the installation.
Note: I also purchased MCARBO’s new Kimber Micro 9 Extra Power Recoil Spring. The combination of the two is AMAZING.

A very nice set indeed; the instructions were very well done and accurate. The set reduced the trigger pull by about half - still leaving a solid trigger wall. The sear spring was less than a joy to install as are all sear springs on any 1911 based firearms. I found it easier to install the sear with a deep grip on the sear with needle nose pliers with the pistol laying on its side rather than trying to stand it upright on the magazine well. All in all a relatively easy assembly even with the fiddle sear and sear spring. Well done Brothers!

Difficulty medium for installation
I am not a gunsmith but managed to put all 3 springs in in about an hour. ( use the u-tube video)They work as advertised lowering the trigger pull by about half. I do not have a devise to measure just going off how it feels. First 2 springs went in in about 10 minutes. Sear spring however needed patience and about 4 tries until I got it right. Trigger is crisp. I also installed a new main spring which is heavier than factory spring. I went to range and gun preformed flawlessly both with 115 grain and 124 grain FMJ. I just wish I could have gotten main spring from Mcarbo also as it would have saved me on 2 shipping costs. I recommend this product to anyone that wants to lower trigger poundage for their micro 9.
I purchased the kit for my Kimber Micro and did the install following he video. All was easy and pretty straightforward and all the system checks worked. Went to the range to try it out and after racking the round and depressing the trigger it won’t fire. The hammer drops but the pin obviously isn’t hitting the primer. Doesn’t appear to be a light strike and this is a brand new unfired weapon. Where’d I go wrong? It’s got to be something simple.
Why take the extractor out couldn’t you just bend the sear spring back a little bit to get it to go in?
There are different ways you can install the parts is up to the person who is installing the kit and how they think it is better to install it.
Will the 380 spring kit work on a colt mustang?

We haven't tested it specifically on the Mustang, but the internals are similar.
How many Kimber micro 9mm kits have been sold and where can I read input from those who have done the actual install to get a feel from those people if it truly made any difference.

No. The 380 Kit is different than the 9mm version.
will this spring kit fit the kimber Evo line?
The EVO line is striker fired instead of hammer, and operates differently. They are not compatible
Has this kit always included the sear spring or was it added I don't remember replacing that price in my micro 9.? Done this spring kit a while ago.

Is there a downside to not installing the upgraded sear spring? I have a brand new Kimber Micro 9 with only 100 rounds through it.

We recommend installing all springs in the kit to maintain safe and consistent functioning while getting the best results possible. Our trigger pull reduction listed for this kit can only be obtained with the full kit installed.
Will installing the spring kit reduce the force to pull the slide back? My wife has weak wrists. Do you sell softer recoil springs?
No, this spring kit will not affect the force required to pull the slide back. Unfortunately we do not offer any lighter recoil springs for this firearm. Each model is slightly different, but lightening a recoil spring too much could cause the slide to not cycle properly.

I just purchased the trigger spring kit for the kimber micro 9 mm was wanting to make sure that it would fit the micro raptor 9 with the ambi safety if it does any help on removing the ambi safety would be great thanks
Hey my wife just got the black ice micro 9 and I just ordered the spring kit. I just pulled the pistol apart and you don’t need to remove the ambi safety to install this kit just draw the safety back all the way to remove the hammer. Also you don’t need to remove the t10 screw on the mag extension just remove the pin on the hammer spring housing .
