Easy install with good results
While the Mossberg spring kit doesn't result in a dramatic reduction in trigger pull it does reduce it enough to be noticeable. My groups are tighter as a result.
Installation is pretty easy esp. if you're used to detail stripping Glock handguns as the design is very similar. As someone already said, trying to compress the extractor/spring assembly while driving in the firing pin safety roll pin is a bit of a pain but not impossible. Try using a "c" clamp to hold the extractor in (make sure to wrap the slide in tape first to prevent marring the finish).
Mossberg pistols use a sear (trigger) spring that's essentially a Glock "New York" trigger spring. Replacing that spring with the M-CARBO sping provides the greatest reduction. If you're worried about light primer strikes (which I have not experienced in a year of using the entire kit) then I recommend installing only the sear and firing pin safety block springs...or just the sear spring if you don't feel like messing with that tiny roll pin in the slide.
I definitely recommend this kit.
Pleasure to shoot
Made a good gun great. Love the trigger. Improved my accuracy mc2c. . Great video instructions. Going do my mcsc next.
MCARBO SKU22229223155555 MossbergMC1sc/MC2c trigger spring kit
Items received were excellent for the weapon, fit perfectly and reduced the trigger pull by approx 1 lb. Items were easily installed by my gunsmith. This is my 2nd pistol which has your company,s trigger Kits installed. Great product !
better trigger
I installed the spring kit in my Mossberg mc2c and was quite pleased. Trigger pull weight went down from about 5.5 lbs to about 4.5 lbs. This made an ok shooter into a good shooter.
It is well worth your while to invest a few $ and make your gun better. As per the video for installation, be advised that the ejector pin is NOT an easy knock out and almost impossible to put back in after spring change. You do not need a gunsmith but an extra set of hands is advised.
Mossberg pistol Trigger Spring Kit
About as advertised; i used two kits on two MC1sc pistols and got the same 3/4# reduction on each pistol. So if you don't need much, go for it.
MC2sc Spring Kit
Easy to install and well worth it! The spring kit makes the trigger much smoother with zero malfunctions using multiple brands of domestic and imported ammo.
Another great trigger.
I installed this kit in my new Mossberg MC2c (using the excellent installation video from Mcarbo) and it resulted in a trigger pull weight of 4 pounds! This is a reliable product that I can recommend!
MC1sc
an absolute breeze to install and sooo much better trigger pull! as always , these folks are THE BEST!!
What’s the reasoning behind the lighter striker spring? Does it affect the trigger? Would it potentially result is light primer strikes? Can it be omitted? Any parts on the trigger mechanism that can polished to make it smoother?

Have you been able to test and verify the springs work on the newer MC2sc? Several people say it works but it would good to have an official ok. Also, your YouTube video title says “MC1sc & MC2sc Trigger Spring Kit…”

Other customers have installed it on their own and reported that it works, That being said, we at MCARBO have not yet tested it so we can not say if it will nor can we cover the warranty of the parts until we do.
My MC2c is striker fired but the is a hammer spring kit. Am I missing something?
DaveR April 21, 2022 9:36 PM
It is indeed a striker-fired pistol! Thank you for pointing out the mis-labeled image! The largest spring is the Striker spring, and the smallest is the striker block spring. Thanks for catching this so we can correct it!
Is this spring kit compatible with the new MC2sc?
We haven't yet tested our spring kit in that model! Please shoot us an email to help@mcarbo.com if you would like us to save your contact information to reach back out to you once we can verify either way.
