Ruger PC Carbine 9mm Muzzle Brake
Warning! Avoid over-tightening to prevent snapping the barrel threads.
The M*CARBO Ruger PC Carbine Muzzle Brake not only maximizes recoil reduction and compensation but also extends the firearm by approximately 1" after accounting for the thread length. Suitable for competition or home defense use.
Installation requires a standard AR-15 armorers tool or a 3/4" wrench. To prevent scratches, consider adding 1 or 2 layers of masking tape to the brake.
This muzzle brake combines the advantages of both a muzzle brake and a compensator, allowing for more stable and controllable rapid fire, keeping you on target consistently.
For optimal performance, while Rocksett is not mandatory, it is recommended due to its 1,500-degree temperature rating and removable strength properties. M*CARBO excels in producing high-quality aftermarket parts, enhancing the Ruger PC Carbine's performance.
Enhance your shooting experience by reducing both felt recoil and muzzle flip with this single upgrade. Stay tuned for more custom modifications from M*CARBO to elevate the Ruger PC Carbine's factory capabilities!

Shipping was instant. Fit was perfect. Works as expected.
Quality product
Well made, great quality and fit perfectly. It makes follow shots quicker and more accurate.
Excellent upgrade
I took a slow motion video before and after installation with all the same variables including ammunition and the difference was obvious. It was a bit difficult to install without a vice but not impossible.
EASY to Install Following Video Recommendations
I was able to install this myself very easily after watching the prepared video outlining simple steps to time the muzzle break installation using the supplied crush washer. I have not as yet had an opportunity to use my Ruger PC9 Carbine since I installed the muzzle brake but from video reviews that I have watched, the recoil, and thus the accuracy, were much improved.

Excellent eliminates barrel rise stays on target very good product !
Is it MD complaint?.
In Maryland, muzzle brakes are generally legal, but it's crucial to ensure that the installation of such accessories does not alter the firearm in a way that makes it non-compliant with state laws. Maryland has strict regulations regarding "assault weapons" and other firearm modifications, so while the muzzle brake itself might be compliant, the overall configuration of your Ruger PC Carbine must also adhere to state laws.
To confirm compliance, I recommend checking the latest Maryland state firearm laws or consulting with a local firearms dealer who is familiar with Maryland regulations. This will ensure that your firearm remains compliant after installing the muzzle brake.

As easy as it is to remove and re-install the M-LOK hand guard, wouldn't it be better to remove it before exerting so much twisting force on it while tightening the muzzle brake?
You're correct that removing the M-LOK handguard before installing or tightening the muzzle brake could be a better approach, especially if you are concerned about exerting too much twisting force on the handguard. When installing a muzzle brake, it's important to ensure that the torque applied doesn't inadvertently affect other components of the firearm, such as the handguard. By removing the M-LOK handguard before installation, you eliminate the risk of misalignment or damage that could occur due to the twisting force. Once the muzzle brake is securely installed and properly aligned, you can reattach the handguard without worrying about it being affected during the installation process. This approach might require a bit more time, but it ensures that all parts of your firearm remain in their optimal condition. It's a practical consideration and one that many firearm enthusiasts might prefer to take for added peace of mind.

can I use this for my S&W Folding 9mm Carbine ?
The Ruger PC Carbine Muzzle Brake by M*CARBO is specifically designed to fit the Ruger PC Carbine. However, it can also be compatible with other firearms that have a barrel with the same thread size and pitch, which is 1/2"-28. Always ensure that any modifications or additions to your firearm are properly fitted and safe to use. If you’re unsure about the threading or compatibility, it might be best to consult with a gunsmith.

Is the jam nut version available?
As of the current offerings from M*CARBO, the Ruger PC Carbine Muzzle Brake is available with a crush washer for installation rather than a jam nut. The crush washer is the standard method provided for securing the muzzle brake to the barrel, allowing for proper alignment and a secure fit. If you specifically prefer a jam nut for installation, M*CARBO does not currently offer a version of the muzzle brake with a jam nut. However, jam nuts can sometimes be sourced separately through various firearms accessory retailers if you prefer that method of installation. You would need to ensure that the jam nut is compatible with the threading of your barrel and the muzzle brake. If MCARBO starts offering a jam nut version in the future, it would likely be listed on the product page or announced through their communications. Keep an eye on the product updates, or feel free to reach out to M*CARBO customer service for the most up-to-date information.
