Better than I hoped for
This kit smoothes out every aspect of the Ruger trigger. The shims helped more than I thought they would, and after 400+ rounds, the reliability of this kit has been proven for me. I have been bragging about this product and would gladly buy it again!!!
Ruger GP100 Trigger Spring Kit & Polishing
Before I purchased the GP100 Trigger Spring Kit I watched the video to make sure I could take my Ruger GP100 apart and put it back together and come away with a functioning firearm. As usual the video was excellent. I got the Trigger Spring Kit and followed the video with some missteps and cussing on my part. But when I was done I couldn't believe the difference. I started out with a trigger pull of 11.6lbs. DA and 4.2lbs. SA. I ended up with a trigger pull of 7.4lbs. DA and 2.4lbs. SA with an extremely smooth trigger pull. I would have never attempted this without the excellent video by Chris Nelson. This is by the far the most complicated disassembly/reassembly I have ever done. THANK YOU!!

Well put together kit, light primer strikes
I used this kit on an sp101 in 327. Trigger from factory was terrible and lots of slop in hammer and some in the trigger. Installation video was fantastic, did the buff and fluff of internals and installed the kit. Trigger was immensely improved and slop in action reduced. I feel that they went just a little to light on the springs. Trigger return is ok if a little spongy. Upon doing function check with live ammo, I had about five light primer strikes with standard primers out of about 150 rounds. I haven't checked with magnum primers but believe that I would have more due to increased hardness of the cups. I feel that an increase of between 1-2 pounds on the springs would make this perfect for carry without losing reliability.
SP101 spring kit
I bought a used SP101 in 327 Federal Magnum and was immediately disappointed with the trigger pull.
MCarbo to the rescue, their trigger kit was just what I needed. Great video for guidance and a great improvement
for this gun.
I have used several MCarbo parts and all have exceeded expectations. Thank you for your commitment to excellence.
GP100
Worked as advertised reduced my pull by about 50% by watching the video I was able to do the spring change and polish I would recommend this to everyone.
Great kit and amazing video
Followed the video to do the full polish, spring, and shim install and it turned out great. Very smooth and lightened up the single snd double action as expected. Between this and my LCP max (spring snd trigger upgrades) I am very pleased.
Best After Market Upgrade
I've used several of these kits to improve the factory trigger pull for both GP 100 and SP 101's . My customers love the improvements, which dramatically improve their accuracy. Highly recommend these kits.

This kit made my gp100 feel like the true king of revolvers that it is! install
Was not too hard however i do recommend using a big ziplock bag when pulling trigger plunger springs in and out mine did grow wings but luckily was able to find it .easy to follow step by step and boy what a difference it made . One trip to range so far 150 rounds and no light strikes
Any idea if this kit will work on the Security/Service 6 series? Thanks
Will the SP101 trigger spring kit work on my DA only spur-less hammer Ruger SP101?
Sp101 in .327, awful trigger (horribly manufactured), had gunsmith change to different brand springs, much lighter than the originals I think, now light hammer strikes on some factory and a lot of reloads.
Question 1) Will these springs work on SP101 in .327?
2) Any idea on reloads? Just as a note, my Ruger LCR in .327 has no issue with my reloads….
My 357 sp101 puts a good size dimple in every primer it’s hit with this kit, reloads and factory new.

Hi. Will this will work on the 9mm SP101 also?
Thanks
I have a GP100 in 44special. You are not showing that caliber. Will the .357 spring kit work?

We have not tested our springs with that caliber so we cannot verify that you will see the same results with your model.
I see two trigger return springs in the Ruger GP101/100 trigger spring kit. I've looked in the printable instructions and watched the video but don't see anything about why .

We found with testing and research that Ruger was inconsistent with which spring they used in different models, so we include two different options in our spring kit for you to use the one that fits better in your firearm!
The newer GP100s use a slightly shorter trigger return spring than older GPs. The SP101 uses the longer one.
