Springfield Hellcat Trigger Spring Kit & Stainless Steel Striker Sleeve
Upgrade your Springfield Hellcat with a comprehensive trigger job, reducing the factory trigger pull from ~6.75lbs to a modified ~4.5lbs, a nearly 35% reduction!
Enhance the reliability and performance of your Springfield Hellcat pistol with these essential upgrades. Achieve a consistent trigger pull reduction across all three springs, along with a reliability improvement for the Hellcat striker sleeve, ensuring it never fails you.
It is vital for all Springfield Hellcat upgrades to improve both the function and reliability of this pistol. Issues often arise from aftermarket parts that fail to consider the secondary effects on other internal components once modifications have been made.
The most vulnerable and lower-quality factory part inside your Hellcat is the thin plastic factory striker sleeve. Installing a lighter striker spring without upgrading the striker sleeve could lead to a quicker breakage than typically experienced with the factory striker spring.
These custom Springfield Armory Hellcat accessories are designed to address factory problems while enhancing the performance and reliability of your Springfield Hellcat pistol!

A must upgrade!
I wanted to wait a while to write my review to be able to give an honest report as to what I have experienced after putting my concealed carry firearm to the test. I made my trigger upgrade a few months ago and since then I have put nearly 900 rounds through it and have competed in 3 separate concealed carry competitions, and I have noticed my shots are faster, smoother, accurate, and groupings tighter.
The Hellcat is not an easy gun to shoot especially in a competition setting, but the trigger has made a world of difference. The trigger and the springs have been super reliable and I have had no jambs or misfires at all, and it is worth the upgrade. While everything is disassembled and accessible it is a good time to polish the parts that need it.
Great upgrade
It’s a must have for hellcat pro. Before this I hated that long pull no defined wall But after the swap it’s still no defined wall but it’s no that long pull and it’s close to 4lb trigger
Lack Luster Results
While I appreciate and respect the work done by Mcarbo, this was an extremely underwhelming upgrade. I installed this kit and the Mcarbo trigger. The result is barely noticeable except if you maybe have another stock Hellcat to do a side by side comparison.
My digital gauge didn’t even report a 1 lb reduction and in case you are wondering, I definitely did not make the mistake of reinstalling one of the old springs.
This kit plus the trigger cost around $130 combined, even if it was $50, I would consider it not worth it based on the lack luster results.
Sorry Mcarbo. I still have faith in you guys, just not on this particular spring kit or trigger upgrade.
Well worth the investment. Best $50 I ever spent.
I purchased my Hellcat a year ago and it had the worse trigger pull I ever experienced. It was 8.2 lbs, gritty, with a bad reset. Bought it for concealed carry. Put 500 rounds thru it and wasn't confident in its performance. Bought the Mcarbo trigger spring kit. Installation was quick and effortless as I had my laptop in front of me and followed the step by step tutorial/ installation instructions. Looked intimidating at first but really wasn't. (And yes the striker sleeve was cracked). Easily replaced OEM parts with Mcarbo parts (you could definitely see the difference in quality) and polished recommended components. Trigger pull was reduced to a crisp 3.9 lbs., smooth as silk, with a crisp audible reset. Now I enjoy shooting my Hellcat and confident enough in its performance to use it as my primary carry gun.

Outstanding reduction and feel
I couldn’t be more happy with the reduction in pull weight and crisp break. The OE trigger was pure sh**t that was until I installed Mcarbo product, very happy with results.

Do you currently make the striker sleeve in black or do you intend to do it in the future? I'm personally not a fan of how the stainless steel looks with every other part being black around it
hi, I am very interested in installing ttis kit to my hellcat pro. Just a little hesitate on the striker safety spring. Is it a must to replace it, or the original striker safety spring can be kept? Thanks

I have a Hellcat Pro that is a California compliant model. I bought your striker assembly kit for it and installed the striker and the spring for the trigger safety only so far. I have not put in the new sear spring yet. The issue I have right now is the trigger and trigger safety do not reset all the way back out when pulling the trigger and then racking the slide. Do I need to install your sear spring to remedy this problem ? Also, with this CA model there is a magazine disconnect safety in this gun. Will that stay in the gun when I pull the trigger assembly out of the gun body or is there another step to be aware of when disassembling ? Thanks for any help.

Will this kit work with Hellcat (non pro) with thumb safety?

Since you are replacing plastic on metal to metal on metal are there any new lubrication considerations ?
No. The surfaces are machined smooth. Lubrication in the striker channel could collect debris and negatively impact functioning.
When will the spring kits including the SS striker sleeve be back available?
We don't have a specific date, if you send us an email to help@mcarbo we can add your email to get a alert when it come back on stock
Is this also compatible with the Hellcat RDP? Just want to clarify before I purchase it.
Will Fit/Function in all Springfield Hellcat Micro-Compact Models: RDP, OSP
Will this kit work on the Hellcat Pro?

Yes sir. CUrrently it will work on all Hellcat models including your Hellcat PRO
Will your hellcat striker fit in fit Lake lines's metal striker guide?
we have not done any compatibility testing with other aftermarket companies' products
I put your kit into my Hellcat. I.m now experiencing a light primer strike every 20 rounds. When this happen, I'll get maybe 3 in a row. When I put these light struck rounds back through the gun they fire normal. Any words of wisdom??

The stainless steel sleeve that I bought has a grittiness when moving the factory striker inside of it (it feels better without the spring).
Like catching on some metal-on metal rough spots.
I would not think this is normal. Is that the case?
Hello! Are you planning to make an installation video for Hellcat with manual safety? Thanks
December 4, 2021 11:13 AM
Currently we do not have a video on the safety model, however I will write this down in our customer idea log.
Is there any risk of damage replacing the plastic sleeve with the stainless steel? Anything it might impact/damage inside the slide? I like the idea of steel vs plastic, but was wondering if there might have been a functional reason it was plastic to start with. I have received the kit and am ready to start on it, but this crossed my mind today.
The stock trigger is giving me trigger bite. If I shoot more than 50 rds I'll start to get a blister on my trigger finger. No problems when I dry fire so I'm assuming the problem is with the trigger return slamming into my finger. Will this spring kit help?

Hey, Brother. This should help soften up the pull and the return for you.
Can the stainless striker sleeve be purchased separately for those of us that have already installed an apex enhancement trigger but need to upgrade the sleeve? Thanks.

Hello, we do not currently sell the stainless steel sleeve separately and do not believe we plan to do so in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience!
I left a question in a comment on your Youtube video, but I figured this was more direct. I have short fingers and want to reduce the reach to the trigger on my Hellcat. I also want your stainless striker sleeve. I'm not sure how much reduction in trigger force I want/need. My question is: Is your spring kit for the Hellcat compatible with the Hyve Monarch trigger? Is the expected trigger pull reduction for the Monarch trigger the same as the 35% for the OEM trigger, or would it differ for some reason? If you say the Monarch trigger will work I'll probably buy your spring kit and a polishing kit. After polishing I'll see if I like the result, and if it appears I'd like to reduce the trigger pull force I'll switch out the springs as well.
Hi Stephen,
We have not tested our kit with a Hyve Monach trigger therefore are unable to give you a definite answer..., I can however say, there may be an M*CARBO Trigger for the Hellcat in the future
Will this work with the RDP?
Hi Tim! This absolutely will work with the RDP!
Does this kit work with aftermarket i.e apex triggers or only oem
HI Kevin! We have not tested this kit with any other triggers except for the OEM and cannot confirm compatability.
