Review
When installing a trigger kit, I would highly recommend installing this stainless ramp while you got it opened up because it is of great quality and nice upgrade over plastic feed ramp.
I was very impressed with this upgrade. I ran 100 rounds through it and it ran flawlessly. I would get failure to feed on the old junk I took out of it. My only complaint was the shipping. I bought this on pre order VIP weekend on the first night which was Friday. It took over a week to receive. I received emails, asking me, how I was enjoying the products, but I had not received them. They had not even been shipped yet. The excuse I received was an overwhelming response to the item. I attribute this to P*** Poor Planning. This is a minor complaint and will not deter me from buying from MCARBO again. The products speak for themselves. Very happy with the outcome!!!
metal feed ramp > polymer. get the polishing kit and spend some time on it. it’s worth doing right.
I bought this piece just because of heat concerns with the plastic feed ramp that comes stock. I didn’t expect for it to make the gun cycle so much smoother. Definitely a great purchase
Dispels any feed ramp problems due to melting of the original, plastic, Kel-Tec Sub 2000 feed ramp. Superior quality and easy to install. I suggest the recommended ramp polishing also.
I prefer steel to composite for the feed ramp. I used polishing kit to smooth the ramp and made it slicker than snot on the old doorknob. I intend to shoot the crap out of the Sub2000 and I'm confident that the new ramp will last as long as the rifle.
Didn't know what was causing my constant type 2 and 3 malfunctions, so i tried this stainless feed ramp, made since after seeing my poly ramp scored up, now working flawlessly.
The polymer ramp from factory is laughable. Buy this.
I think we can agree on why a stainless steel feed ramp beats out a polymer one. Great part that is machined well and fits like a glove. With the polishing kit, you can get it to a mirror shine and smooth as glass. Will definitely have less drag and be infinitely more durable than the factory polymer one.
This is truly one of the best things you can do for your gun. No more plastic cheap crap. This is high quality. Ran like a champ after install. So far I have 400 rounds on this ramp.
Did I need to replace the plastic one, no as I never had an issue with mis-feeding, but I get the feeling that Stainless Steel just might be a little more durable than injection molded plastic, and I expect that part to get plenty of use. However, that spring installation tool was pretty-much useless. No matter how I tried to use it, all it did was shove the tip of the wire into the slide lock bar scratching it up but never getting it even close to entering the hole. I just took the slide lock bar out, hooked the wire into it, then rotated the slide lock bar so that it was on the side of the feed ramp like it would be when installed, then as I held it in place against the feed ramp, I installed them both as an assembly. I assume the guy in the video made it look sooooo easy is because has most likely done dozens of those upgrades.
In my innovation review there was a typo. It said I'll be crack, s/b I'll be be back. Sorry guys.
This is the feed ramp the S2K ought to come with. Use able from the get go, I’d recommend polishing it, I got the Mcarbo kit because I couldn’t find my Dremel polishing bits. I hit it with the grey Dremel fine but then the Mcarbo bits and paste. Didn’t tale long to polish to the point that oil would bead on it. So smooth. Easy install while you’re in your S2K doing other things. Well worth it. This really is something that ought to be a factory part...
Great improvement for the P2000!
Superb fitment and overall a must when it comes to replacing a polymer feed ramp with the upgraded one here.
This is a must have for longevity and reliability. Simple install after polishing.
