I purchased the new feed ramp and polishing kit, I have almost everything Mcarbo has for the Sub 2K. I polished the ramp went out and shot several hundred rounds with no problems what so ever. I feel more secure in my firearm with this new stainless feed ramp.
Flawless feeding, excellent!
Polishing was easy .. install was a drop in the bucket .. as other reviewers suggest .. get all of the internal upgrades up front and do these at the same time. Makes for a nice project that you will be proud of. Will extend the life of your weapon and who doesn’t want that !!
If you only perform one upgrade to your sub2k make it this feed ramp.
Well made component, definitely a worthwhile substitute for the original plastic part. I polished the feed ramp, just to make it more 'slippery' and had no stoppages shooting 100 rounds.
Ordered the Stainless Steel Feed Ramp an Amazingly it arrived the next day I ordered it late afternoon amazing Product polished out quickly an without much effort went to the range last Sunday 200 rounds down range no problems! the stainless steel feed ramp is a must. the rifle comes with a plastic feed ramp you know what happens with plastic when it gets hot. it is easly installed.
This is a must the ramp rifle come with is plastic and heat from rapped fireing will degrade the plastic.
No comparison to the $2.00 plastic one that comes in the SK2! A must have!
I would recommend replacing the factory plastic feed ramp with this solid steel feed ramp , If you polish it first before install makes it even better.

Great upgrade. After only 200 rounds found original to overall function but was leang cut marks on bullet jacket, and in some cases seating bullet deeper into casing. This piece was nicely machined in stock form but did benefit from feedramp and chamber polish. When installed functions with no friction and noticably smother feeding, no more casing marks or bullets seating more deeply no matter how many times same bullet was cycled through action in bench tests. This is a "must do" in my humble opinion.for enhanced reliability and longevity. Although I must say never experienced a ftf or fte in the initial round count using various ammunition weights. The feel of the action after upgrade is tremendously noticable.
Greatly enhances and cuts down on feed issues.
