Polished right up, fit like a glove when assembled
Polishes up well fits great, great product
The feed ramp that comes on the sub-2000 is plastic and won't hold up like the polished stainless one they sell here I have them on both the 9 and the 40.
After shooting 500 round on the SUB2000 I perceived some little marks on the original plastic feed ramp. I never had a FTF or FTE but I thought tha with time the original piece would cause problems so I decided to change for a metal one. The installation is easy. I put another 300 round thought it without failures. Recommended upgrade. Después de disparar 500 tiros en laSUB2000, percibí algunas pequeñas marcas en la rampa de alimentación de plástico original. Nunca tuve un FTF o un FTE, pero pensé que con el tiempo la pieza original de plástico se desgastaría y causaría problemas, así que decidí cambiarla por una de metal. La instalación es fácil siguiendo el tutorial. Desde entonces, disparé otros 300 tiros en la SUB2000 sin experimentar falla alguna. Recomiendo esta mejora para la SUB2000.
I recommend ordering this when you order the trigger upgrades so you don't have to take apart your sub again. this was a no brainer for me, the gun cycles so much better now and the polishing kit made this quick and easy.

Suggested this way back when and it is good to see it being implemented. It fit perfectly, functioned without a hiccup, has all of the correct feed ramp geometry, the only thing I would suggest is that they offer it pre-polished as an option. Should you choose to polish it, you would be better served by using a multi step solid rouge process than the liquid car wax polish they offer as a kit is my only suggestion (i.e. Brownells Gray and White Polish-O-Ray)

Well made part, but still has fine machining marks on the ramp. Didn't buy the polishing kit, because I already had Dremel felt polishing tips and some Flitz in the shop. Polished the ramp to a mirror finish in a matter of a couple minutes. If you've already installed the trigger kit, you will know the procedure for this install (if not just watch the video and you're golden). Installed easily and fit nice and tight. Took it to the range and fed 100 rounds of FMJ and 100 rounds of mixed factory hollow points through it with no problems. Wiped the ramp with a cloth, a couple rubs and clean as a whistle. Huge upgrade over the factory plastic part!

I got the steel feed ramp and polishing kit to make this installation with the professional trigger job a one-stop-shot. After testing with a few hundred rounds, this ramp performs flawlessly. I noticed a very quick and clean charge and feed process, where I felt the stock synthetic ramp felt forced. Really am enjoying this ramp.
After the installation of the stainless steel feed ramp along with the enhanced mag release, the PMR 30's feed like they were meant to. I have been told that after about 700-800 rounds, the stock polymer one will wear in, but with these two parts, you can mag dump (if you can find the ammo) to your heart's content!! Once I polished it up it feeds quite nicely. Even managed to run a whole mag of Federal HST 124 grain JHPs without any hangups.
I was having issues with my rifle damaging bullets as it fed them into the chamber. The issue was actually being cause by too much up down play in the magazine grip, but there is no easy fix for that. On a gamble, I picked this up hoping it would alleviate the problem, and it did. Compared to the stock ramp, this one feeds bullets into the chamber at a slightly less steep angle.
