My Sub2000 .40 S&W jammed (failure to feed with damage to the case mouth) on both my reloads and Federal factory loaded ammo, brand new, right out of the box after a good cleaning and lube. I was very disappointed. Thankfully I found MCARBO. After watching the installation videos a few times I was able to replace the trigger springs and the feed ramp without too much trouble. I was able to hand cycle a full magazine without problems, this was not possible before the feed ramp upgrade. Hopefully the next time I go shooting the upgrades will work, I have confidence they will.
This piece is a great improvement i feel, and at a low-impact price. Easy enough to install, especially with all the info available from mcarbo on how its done! The feed ramp was easy to install after watching the installation video. The reliability on the Sub 2000 gen 2 went up drastically with no malfunctions feeding in the 120 rounds compared to 3 or 4 malfunctions before.
It is very good part. compare to the manufacture plastic one, you must to have this for your sub 2000. this product makes the cartridge get into the bore easily and smoothly, it lasts longer I guess. The installation is simple if you follow the instruction on YouTube. Only thing you need really careful is when you remove the safety pin, you need pay much attention on the spring to avoid flying out. other than that, everything is straight forward, no special tool needed and no special talent needed as well. I did it all by myself successfully at first time try.
I was experiencing an issue with my handloaded ammo on my 9x19 S2K. This ramp reliably feeds the only round I ever had occasional issues with. The pointy Everglades Ammo 9x19 147gn. Using a bench grinder with a polishing pad installed , it shined up nicely. No more issues with the aforementioned JHP. This polish ramp juxtaposed a straight blade alloy trigger and you've not only an epic platform for 9x19 but a reliable one too!

Received the ramp and it is as advertised. Tight little well-made part that will, no doubt, improve (or at least maintain) the operational life of my 9mm sub 2K. However, I would strongly suggest that you consider purchasing either the inclusive trigger parts upgrade (with all internals offered), or select those internals, a la carte, that you are even considering as enhancements/life-extending for your firearm. Because, in replacing my rear sight, I realized that, while the Gen 2 uses an excellent polymer and more than adequate hardware...you don’t want to be disassembling/assembling the sub 2K more often than necessary. I think you’d be asking for trouble where steel, polymer, and repeated torques, are concerned. I believe MCARBO even recommends ‘getting in and getting’, all at once. I did not install the ramp I just ordered. In fact, I plan on calling MCARBO to see if I can get the complete internals kit (sans feed ramp), so I can do this right the first time. This is a great addition to your sub 2k I mean why not put metal in your gun when you have plastic? Seems like a no brainer. Great service!!!!

This little part is the heart of the feeding without it will fail to work eventually, the plastic one from factory is very weak, I follow the instructions and polished it to a mirror finish... It fed the ammo like a charm... it’s worth the money and the time to do it... Great part...
Replaced with hammer bushing, trigger, trigger guard, trigger bar, steel inserts and screws and feel so much more confident in the firearm.
Small mix up in shipping, but I did order pretty much everything all at once so a small part is easy to miss. Communication with staff was quick and efficient and the turn-around time on getting it to me was super fast. Could not be happier with the customer service.
