If u ordered a new feed ramp then you've gotta get this kit...there's enough polish 2 last 4ever & it looks like new after polishing it...with the buffing bits that come with it u can polish the feed ramp without taking the gun apart.
I installed the Spring Kit at the same time as I did the polish so I cant tell you which modification remove the slight Gritty feel to the Glock trigger, I can tell you doing both had amazing results the standard 5.5 pound trigger pull is now 3.5 and very similar to most mid range 1911s
Plain and simple, this kit fits the bill, and makes it a simple one stop shop to get the job done on the M*CARBO top notch SSFR.
There is enough of the metal polish in this kit to do several pistol and rifle feed ramps. I did up 3 Gen4 Glocks to include doing the firing pins, trigger safety plungers, and the trigger bars. I still have at least 80% of the polish left in the tin. Planning on touching up the feed ramps on the AR's next weekend. Get extra polishing heads if you plan on doing several weapons...I used one for each of the Glocks I did up, but got a couple of extra bags of the tips so I have them.
I got this to do a some work on my 10/22 along with the spring kit. It was a fast and easy. I just took it out to the range. I love how it shoots. It now the same as my tricked out 10/22 at a fraction of the price. If you own a 10/22 do the sear and hammer. You would not regret it.
Good kit and plenty of flitz for other small polishing jobs
Bought this kit after watching YT video on polishing trigger assembly. All the materials you need except the small tube of PTFE assembly grease (possibly hazmat shipping issue). Would be nice if that were included. It was not as messy as the video depicts. I changed felt bits for each piece and still had one (of three) bit left over. Good quality lint free rag can be washed and used again for whatever on your workbench. Nitrile gloves are good for more than single use as well. The kit plus my Dremel tool made this job easy and polished the components to a bright luster. Definitely recommend this kit if you do not already have the materials around your shop.
This is ridiculously easy even for those of us who aren't gunsmiths by any stretch-- just follow the video. I polished the sear-trigger interface and feed ramp to a mirror-like shine for one gun, and immediately polished the ramps for 3 more. Then I noticed the bluing on one barrel was wearing. So I soaked that in vinegar for a few minutes (doesn't hurt the metal), wiped off the remainder, and polished the barrel and the recoil rod. (Coated that with TWP 25 for extra rust resistance, but really not needed if maintained since the shroud had come polished from the factory anyway.) This kit is so convenient, I just ordered another one to have on hand.
This part goes with the stainless feed ramp and it made a difference. Great Job on all the upgrades so far.
Bought and used when I was installing the Glock trigger spring kit. Also polished the barrel feed ramp while polishing all the other trigger parts.
Enough for at least two jobs, and it works great
Great quality product made in America, Does as described, great video for install, fast service and turnaround. Highly recommend.
If you go out and purchase these items separately, you will pay more. Mcarbo puts it all together for you in one package at a great price.
Successfully polished my trigger parts, striker, and safety pin as shown on their video using this kit. Fun project and a reduced trigger pull was great.
This worked great for polishing my P238 feed ramp and the hammer sear surfaces. But the polishing compound can get into all of the small crevices in the trigger. You need to clean very thoroughly before reassembly. I have enough compound left over to do some of my other pistols and some knives that need work.
