Installed this bolt tube cover, skeletonized charging handle and recoil buffer together. It gets cold in Idaho, and these components make for a much more enjoyable day at the range. Very easy to install.
I live in a mid-western state where winter means some very, very cold days at the outdoor range. Having to rest my cheek on the bare metal of the S2K bolt tube was not only freezing cold and uncomfortable but, also scratched the heck out of my face. This bolt tube cover is a simple, very well executed and eaasy to install solution that allows hours of shooting without damaging your cheek. Such a small price to pay for a true improvement.
Haven't had a chance to go to the range yet, but just practicing with it, I can tell this is going to be much better on the cheek. Great product. Fast shipping. Great service.

Always helps to have a little padding on the bolt tube. fits well, looks good, cushions against dings in the bolt tube
So the hubs and I both have Gen 1 and Gen 2 sub2000, his are both glock 17 models, mine are both glock 19 models. This fit all 4 of them perfectly. One note: on the Gen 2 models, it does impact the ability to tighten up the stock (shorten length of the stock) in its complete state. They do have the rings to identify where to cut off if you want to shorten the stock, but I didn't want to cut it. The cut lines are positioned so that it would no longer be an intact tube at the back after it's cut. So, for a small to medium height person, this may be an issue with gen 2. This is the only reason I set the stars to 4 instead of 5. That said, I'll be coming back for more mcarbo products!
Easy to install....looks good, feels better than the naked tube on your cheek. The cut-out for the serial number is a nice touch. Must have item for you sub2k.
Perfect. Very easy on. Just like the videos on YouTube review it as. Wasn't in a hurry but 4 on the floor and out the door Mario Andretti must of dropped it off. Anything from these guys will be awesome and you won't go wrong. Try Them for Yourself...
Not only does it do what is supposed to, it will also keep that pesky "castle nut", or whatever they call it, from slipping completely off (as they have been known to do) may as well order some loctite 380 as well to secure that nut on properly when it does come loose
This is such an easy and inexpensive upgrade for the sub2k... don't pass it up.
Makes the sub 2k more comfortable to shoot.

Love fit and feel. Wonder if I should cut it down. But the full cover fits great.
