With this blast of arctic air here in Michigan it made shoot my sub 2000 quite unenjoyable . With this it’s added a bit of comfort from the cold bdig74@comcast.net

I already use my sub2k with the butt stock in it's longest position so installation was stupid simple. It definitely makes a bearded guy less hesitant to get down on that line of sight.

If you are looking for a big increase in quality of usage.. this is not it. It however hides a big scratch that my keltec came with. The cover is not rocket science to put on and is secure. I guess it has no disadvantage and that makes it better than about 50 percent of modifications.
On the .40 you get a noticeable jolt to the cheekbone, this sleeve in conjunction with the buffer and recoil pad, or anything to help lengthen the stock, really helps with the shock to the face. the sleeve is actually about 3/16" too long for the gen 2 at longest setting but pushes up over the butt piece, it needs to be shaved down a little to latch properly but has the benefit of the gap between the butt piece and tube being covered so that it doesn't pull out beard hair anymore.....
I wasn't sure I really "needed" the bolt tube cover, I mean, man up. But got it on the Veteran Day sale and must admit it really is much nicer to shoot the Sub 2000 with the bolt cover. Thanks Mcarbo!
Bolt tube cover is a cheek saver. Great product for the price. Gave it 4 stars only because when I fold the sub2k, the cover restricts it from latching smoothly. Have to put some added pressure to get the latch to catch. But the product does what it’s intended for, and that’s more comfort for your face. Customer service and shipping are always top notch.
