This surprised me in how much less my cheek hurts when shooting. I use the longest setting on the shoulder so install was a piece of cake. Highly recommend!
A must-have!
Because I’m small; I have my stock in the first hole. This means you have to trim the cover and use the adhesive tape supplied. I wasn’t happy with the look of the cut off edges near the stock and removed the cover. That glue is a beotch to remove but us gun folk have solvent and rags. It would be nice if the end of the cover was tapered to fit over the stock instead of cutting it. You probably already tried something but I just wondered.
Item fits perfectly,smooth install
The butt stock kept pulling out my beard hairs. Annoying when moving! The Tube Cover stopped that!
Simple thing makes a huge difference.
The standard stock on the Sub2K is notorious for yanking out beard hairs. This will make it so it won't. And it makes the rifle more comfortable to shoot. 'Nuff said.
Great! No more getting my beard ripped out while shooting my kel tec. Makes the cheek weld much more comfortable, this should be standard on all sub 2000's.
If your going to change out your charging handle, which I recommend, take time to slide the bolt tube cover on. The cover is very, very comfortable.
If you live in an environment where temperature gets cold and you still want to enjoy your SUB-2000 you ought to do yourself a favor and purchase this bolt tube cover. It certainly "improves comfort and ergonomics with rigid support covering" but also offers the great benefit of removing the frigid cold feel you'll have to encounter on your cheek when you shoulder and fire it.
It fits well, the adhesive was a pain, but not horrible. Wish there was another solution other than cutting it shorter and having to use adhesive. For the price it works though.
Ordered it one night and received it the next day. It helps,
If you use the longest length of pull you're good. The mid length you'll have to trim, but be careful one bad cut and it's ruined. If you use the shortest length of pull you can't use this product at all.
It fits well, cut outs are in the right spot and adds a level of comfort to the metal tube and creates better cheek weld.
This is one of those things Kel-Tec should have put on the Sub2K from the beginning, along with a metal feed ramp and hammer pivot pin. The cost would have been minimal and would greatly improve the rifle's quality and reduce warranty repairs. The cover slid on easily enough without using CLP like the video recommended and doesn't move around afterwards. The cutout for the serial number is a little too short for the original metal king nut but it can still be seen. I certainly have a lot less beard hairs being ripped out now. LOL
It fits pretty well for the most part, it’s just that closer towards the stock it seems to long and overlaps it.
