My whiskers got caught in the butt stock from time to time before I installed this. Needless to say, that was no good. This resolves that issue and, it's much more conformable when firing.
Great product that installed in less than a minute! Haven’t had a chance to shoot with it yet, but the cheek rest is already more comfortable!
I’ve got my own backyard outdoor range that I like to shoot year-round in chilly Alaska. The tube cover feels a lot better than ice cold metal on the cheek!
A simple modification to a great gun.
Installed the bolt tube cover on my Sub2K Gen2 and it looks great and fits perfectly. The installation video on the website was great for this install. Instead of gun oil I used Hoppe's Dri-Lube to lubricate the cover before sliding it on. I set my stock to the third position for a slightly longer length of pull so no trimming of the cover was required. Tip: try to keep the muzzle pointed down during install to keep the bolt in the tube and prevent hammer from getting in the way of the bolt. No more chilly recoil tube... M*CARBO came threw with a flush, sleak and well designed and thought out option when your sighting your target!!!! And it looks awesome too
Went on pretty much like shown in the install vid. Looks good but more importantly it makes the firearm more comfortable and might reduce felt recoil a touch.
Just took this to the range and it helps a lot more than I thought it would! Smells a little but I’m sure that’ll fade after a bit!
All around nice cover keeps the cold metal off of your face and pads in a little bit also dresses up the bolt tube
Easily installed but had to trim the serial number window. The 1st character was hidden by the cover.
This cover was easy to install and adds to the overall look of my Sub2000. It is nice to rest your face on when shooting. I'm happy with my purchase.
Must have for me. For some reason the OEM configuration without the sleeve snatches my beard hairs out by the dozen. Sleeve prevents that and levels off the transition of the tube on my cheek .
What can I say that hasn't been said? Great fit, great quality, well thought out engineering, multiple sizes to fit my exact sub and setup. I have the plastic collar (late version gen 2) and use longest LOP, along with single side QD sling mount. The 5.25" tube cover fit like a glove. Haven't shot it yet with the new sleeve, but just shouldering the carbine I can immediately tell it's going to be an awesome addition to an already very fun gun.

This puppy adds a little tamer to the blowback life. Since it’s only a pistol cartridge, I didn’t care about the kick, but rather save my check bone when lining up sights and shooting. Buy the recoiless charging handle and rubber internal buffer, then you’ve got a kitten.
