Who likes tubes being slapped on the face?? At least this will help with that. Makes it more comfortable to shoot.
I like the fit and finish of the tube cover, but there is one issue.. i like to shoot my sub 2k with the but stock in the 2nd postion... So I had to cut the piece so that it will fit properly.. now the end piece is no longer there, it kind of hold it together.. so now its open at one end.. SDo I had to grab a rubber band to help it stay in place...

Really compliments the carbine and gives it a more muscular look on the back end. Easy to slide on too.
Absolutely appreciate this item, it keeps your face off of the cold buffer tube and just looks great too!
After installing I no longer get the feeling of that cold steel to the face. It's a very nice upgrade for shooting in the Canadian Winter.
Cover fits snug, easy to install and absorbs a good amount of shock from recoil. Must have upgrade.
What can I say, easy to install, keeps cold steel off my face and if thats not enough, it also looks Great!
Wish i would have gotten this sooner.......worth every penny, when the recoil tube warms up after a couple of rapid mag changes, makes it fun to run thru a few mags. Not feeling the heat anymore!
This bolt tube cover made a nice first upgrade to my Sub-2K. Went on easy as pie, and really enhances the look of the weapon. The comfort level improved, as well.
Directions tell you to trim depending on desired pull and the cover has rings to use for size adjustment. As soon as you trim the first ring however, the back end loses its ability to encircle the stock fully leaving it flappy at the end. Pricey for a piece of rubber. I recommend to make your own rig and save yourself the 15 bucks
I originally was very skeptical about purchasing thinking it was just a gimmick. It is absolutely not, it is night and day, and at this price point; I would never pass it up.
if you want to have the stock on anything but its longest setting, you have to cut the end off this cover. when you cut the end off this cover, it is only attached at the end closer to the front, and it tends to peel back and flop around, limp, useless, and annoying.
Purchased for my Gen 2 Sub-2000 and it firs like a glove. Super easy install. Used it on a cool rainy day and it performed flawlessly.
