As a tall/long arm person, I did not require any trim to fit activity. Went on, fit fine and glad I bought it.
Shooting a sub2000 without a cover is not fun. Pinches you and outright not enjoyable. With a cover nice sight picture and can bury my face nicely with a nice cheek weld to the frame. Worth it
The gun is terrible on the cheek without this, and, like many men, I have a full beard. OUCH. This gets rid of my Sub2k trying to shave me, yanking out hair each time I pull away. It could be better and absorb more of the bolt action vibration, but it's far better than stock and the gun should come with one standard.
The little extra padding this gives you allows a better cheek weld. Way to easy to install. Get it.

Getting a sight picture with the MCARBO buffer tube cover is much more comfortable than without. This product definitely does the trick! It looks cool too!

Any hope of getting a cover that works for shorter lengths? I live in the People’s Republic of New Jersey so my stock can only be used at the shortest (seriously) length.
This is a must have for any sub 2k owner. Nice cheek mount, and it is comfortable.

This Tube Cover was purchased for a friend. I was impressed by the speed of shipping. The quality of the material is superb. Fit is extremely well, goes on very well. The contact with the cheek is great, doesn't change your cheek weld and no more cold steel against the face! An absolute must.
I ordered two of the Tube Covers. This one was for my Sub 2K. Installation was a breeze. The fit is perfect and the quality is superb! You really need one of these on your rifle. The instructions on the website are great and make installing any MCARBO accessory easy.
I had no issue sliding the cover over the buffer tube no lube required. I like the way the cover reduces the felt twang of the bolt cycling.
Awesome lil upgrade mine seems a smig loose but does as intended an works fine, funny thing before putting it on sometimes my dam facial hair would get pulled sometimes in the stock.. So major plus.

Easy install and feels much more comfortable on your cheek than the bare steel, plus it just looks nice.
