Cost me 13 dollars and about 15 minutes to take my trigger from 4-5 lbs to just under 3. Awesome product!
Installed easy with great instructions and it did as advertised now I have a much lighter trigger pull very happy with product and instructions
Looked at the Timney trigger and came across a few posts about this spring. After reading some reviews here decided to go this route. Glad I did, followed the directions on the video and have a ~2.5 trigger pull vs he old 4.5. Well worth the money , thanks for a great product that offers excellent results with a low cost point.
Great inexpensive trigger upgrade, trigger pull is awesome and still crisp. My X-bolt hells canyon shoots like a dream now
Put this in a hells canyon using the installation video. Made it easy and the results were a vast improvement from the stock trigger pull
Like a lot of you shooters, I was looking to improve the heavy trigger on my browning x-bolt pro. The original trigger is crisp but not light, as prescribed by browning attorneys, who actually don’t shoot. The MCARBO trigger spring reduced the trigger pull - and I set it to 2lbs. This has resulted in reduced fliers and tighter groups, in the x-bolt pro due to the rifle’s light weight. I’m shooting more consistently now. I highly recommend this product and it’s easy to install.
Great product...fast delivery...Great price! Drop trigger pull from 5 plus lbs to just under 3 lbs! Installation was easy thanks to the MCARBO video... Thanks!
ordered spring kit got it in two days, removal was very easy with a long scribing awl. original trigger pull was at 4 lbs, after new spring installed and adjusted pull came out at 2lbs 2oz's. trigger breaks crisp and has no creep. very happy with the end results beats the price of a new trigger assembly.
In the end worked as advertised, got just over 2.5 lbs trigger pull on my hells canyon speed in 6.5 CM, browning trigger group did the rest for a superior factory trigger pull. I have not been out to the range yet but pull weight has been very consistent on trigger pull gauge. As for removing the factory spring, well settle down and have a lot of patience. One of the reviews mentioned using a small thin blade screw driver to push the spring down and pull it out, I used this method with good results. Factory spring was moderately missshappen but not destroyed.
Xbolt factory spring 3.5 lbs, Put new spring in and left 2 1/2 thread exposed 2. 5 lbs, Great trigger now. Took a thin finishing nail put a small hook on end with vise grips and then grabed the nail with vise grips and hooked the spring thru the front on trigger housing and pulled it thru the front hole. Took about 5 min to do this start to finish. Thanks Steve.
I believe this product has exceptional value.Reduced the trigger pull to a 2lb 4.7oz average with a Lyman electronic trigger pull guage. To alternately achieve this you will be spending a significant amount of money.Impressed with M-Carbo product support/follow up and also supporting military foundation. Can not go wrong.Being a Canadian I admire the U.S. level of patriotism.
The browning xbolt stalker long range factory trigger was set at 4.5 lbs. This trigger kit did exactly as it said. Now I have a crisp 2.5 lb. Trigger. I do alot of target shooting g and this change was an absolute must. The installation was very easy. Took about 7 minutes in total from start till end doing myself. Not difficult at all. At first I was skeptical that this spring would make that much difference. Boy was I wrong. I do recommend before installing it to take the time and watch the video and read the reviews for helpful tips. Thank you for having a solution to the crappy OEM factory trigger. Looking forward to doing business with you for other projects.
Great product, quick shipping, easy installation. Made a huge difference on my wife's AB3
Getting the stock spring out was a little frustrating, however well worth it. I now have a consistent 2 lb 4oz trigger on 2 xbolts!
Followed the video, but didn't remove trigger assembly from action, as I had good access. Took me longer to remove factory spring than pro in video. I felt it necessary to use bonding agent to secure tension screw. I've replaced triggers on rifles with Timney's, and this upgrade is just as good.
Major improvement over the stock trigger. I highly recommend giving this a try before buying a replacement trigger
