Quick shipping, easy to install following the video and some basic tools. Fixed the only issue I had with my Hells Canyon. About 2.5lb trigger now and a pleasure to shoot.

I 100% recommend this spring kit

My x bolt had a 4.5lb trigger pull the factory set screw was flush with the trigger assembly. After a little work to get the factory spring out, the new spring dropped in very easily. I put a drop of blue loctite on the set screw, and screwed it in a full 2.5 turns. The new trigger pull was exactly 2lbs. I believe you can get it just below 2 lbs if you wanted

I finally have a smooth trigger

I have a Browning X-bolt Max with the "feather trigger" that was anything but. U adjusted the spring as low as possible but there were times I thought I still had the safety on. Enter the Mcarbo trigger spring. I was impressed. Very easy installation and simple to follow directions on the video. Great video guys. I set my screw with just barely 3 threads showing, used purple loctite, and wow, what a difference. I measured my new trigger pull at 1lb-13ozs and oh so smooth. Thanks Mcarbo for a great product.

Installed the spring today. Process went well. Removing the original spring was harder then I thought it would be. After install the trigger seamed lighter as I don’t have a trigger gauge. Well worth the money for what you get.

Installation is a Boatload of Shit

First the good. The product will work. I think it's good. It will do what Mcarbo says. I have installed other CZ kits and was amazed. It's too bad that getting the stock trigger spring out of the trigger cage is a Boatload of Shit. It should not be this difficult.

Installation video was spot on

This was my first install and being a novice was pretty apprehensive to be digging around destroying a factory part of my $1500 xbolt. But after watching the video a couple times I decided to try it, and really glad I did. I ended up leaving the trigger assembly attached instead of removing the pins. Mainly because I own a lefty model and wasn’t sure which direction the pins tapped out. The video tells you one way and I think it’s opposite on a lefty. Regardless, I was pretty easily fished the old spring out with stainless dental picks (not tooth picks). Popped the new spring in and reassembled. I don’t have a way to measure it, but dry firing it I can tell the trigger pull is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. Can’t wait to get to the range!

What can I say, my browning x-Bolt has been collecting some dust. When I first purchased these guns,"6.5 Creed and 7MM Mag", both X-Bolt, I shot them a lot. Then I purchased some High end rifles and got to experience what a custom trigger feels like. What a difference. After going back to my Browning rifles it became clear to me that the triggers needed adjusting, I was just not happy with the trigger. To my surprise Browning would only allow for about 3.5 Lbs. I had every intention of trading in both guns for either Christensen arm or Proof Research rifles in the same calibers. Even though I would most likely lose money I couldn't enjoy shooting them after being spoiled with custome triggers. You guys changed that. Now I shoot them regularly. Keep up the excellent work. The fact that you folks are vets makes me more supportive of the work you all are doing. Thanks for your service. I will be purchasing more product in the future!

Pricey for just a spring, will make you cuss getting the browning spring out, but it does the job! Nice, sweet, low trigger pull weight.

I installed this in a new X-Bolt Stainless Stalker. From the factory I couldn’t adjust weight of pull below 4.5 lbs. with this new spring I now have it set at 2.75 lbs. Hardest part is removing the factory spring. Just watch the recommended install video!

Just as advertised, fast shipping

The spring was really easy to swap out just as the video shows. My x-bolt trigger was breaking just under 4 lbs average before and now right about 2.5 lbs every time with the new spring.

thanks

Just what X-Bolt needed.

Third one I have bought. No issues and easy swap. Shipping costs stink being I am less than 75 miles. Shipping is fast but should be actual costs. That is my only issue.

My original trigger would only adjust between 4lbs 8oz and 4lbs 15oz. Got this and installed it like the second video says (pushing spring out). It still got destroyed but my trigger is 3lbs 2 0z. Easy install.

Just what my xbolt needed

Trigger felt pretty good on my xbolt but when I shot it then it didn't feel so light, trigger gauge showed a little over 3.5 lbs, I really had to concentrate to pull trigger without moving gun, installed this spring in 5 minutes and pull went down to 2 lbs, trigger still breaks nice and clean but way easier to keep steady, my groups got much better, just under 3/4 at 100 yds, great cheap upgrade without buying expensive trigger, no need for it now, it's a no brained, buy it, you'll love it.

Loved the you tube video updates on replacing the stock Xbolt trigger sear spring with the Mcarbo updated spring. Step by step process was clear and simple. One suggestion on removing the stock spring - use a 3/32" punch to compress the stock spring and a pick to grab the top coil and extract through the opening. New trigger is crisp at 2lbs-7ozs.

I was skeptical that it would make that much difference. After all if a simple spring would work why wouldn’t browning put it in the first place?? Simple install. Incredible difference.
