The spring was easy enough to install and definitely lightens up the trigger, but the trigger still has a heavy feel, even though the scale shows 2 lbs.
I’ve done trigger work on a few rifles. Sending to gunsmiths to work on original triggers ( Rem.700) . Changed out triggers to Timneys even after gunsmith work. Trimmed springs on Rugers. When I was shopping for a new rifle I found this website. For 13.00$ that’s right 13.00! I could just switch out the spring and be well satisfied. I bought the X-Bolt (28 Nosler) . I could only get their adjustment to 3lbs 5ozs. I haven’t found any factory triggers to adjust below this level. You can spend over 100.00$ easy to get work done or buy a drop in replacement like a Timney. I purchased the spring , pulled out the factory trigger and popped in the MCARBO spring. Results were trigger a very crisp 2lbs and 9ozs! I’ll take it! 13.00$$ dollars and I’m sold on this trigger addition for Browning X Bolt by MCARBO. Thanks for you product.

The new trigger spring "perfected" my rifle. My only complaint with the xbolt was that the trigger was just a pound heavier than I wished for.

The video was very good, but I approached the spring removal slightly different. I was not able to "fish" it out from the side, instead I pushed on the bottom of the spring and pushed it up and then out. Easy peasy!

Please delete this as i dont want to give the wrong impression.
Wow, this spring made the trigger pull lighter and more crisp on the Browning X Bolt 308. Fast shipping and a great price, plus the video made it easy to change out and the follow up emails, made me feel as a Valued customer. Would suggest any looking to make there rifle better, look no further. This is the place and they are Great.
I’m not a very handy person so I studied the YouTube videos carefully on how to install this trigger spring in my X Bolt. When I got the trigger guard off everything looked a lot smaller than on YouTube. I had tried to adjust this trigger before I bought this spring to no avail. I couldn’t make it any lighter. Maybe I got lucky, but I got the old spring out easily and the M CARBO spring is MUCH better! I got a little less the 3 #s of pull on the trigger now! I’m HAPPY!
From what I’ve see and heard about the Browning X bolt trigger titled Feather trigger not living up to it’s name. And I’m sure you all have seen the comments on YouTube etc. Just replace the factory spring or could say lawyer spring ? With a Mcarbo trigger spring. My Browning 300 win mag target varmit model style stock came in at 3.75 lbs in adjusting the factory spring got it to 3.5 lbs. Installed the Mcarbo spring I am a consistent 2.5lbs with the recommended leaving 2 visible screw angles showing. It’s awesome ! So guys get the Mcarbo spring and if you have patience and the right tool to get the stock spring out which I have a pic of. And have a little savvyness you can remove that factory spring. And wat is really awesome is the new Mcarbo spring just needs to be dropped down in set screw hole. Have blue loc time to secure things. Thanks Lefty
I was a bit skeptical about the spring but after watching some youtube videos, spending 15 dollar for a spring is worth giving it a shot. I have a browning hells Canyon so i didnt want to loose the safety feature with upgrading it to the Timney trigger. I figure if it dont work out, I will upgrade it. The stock pull is too high at 4.x lbs and I tried adjusting it but it still didnt change much. The installation process was a bit hard to get the old spring out, i had to yank it out destroying my old spring. The installation of the new spring was easy. Tested 1.5lbs pull on the new spring. adjust it up to 2lbs which is where I wanted it. Well worth it.
Easy to install with the YouTube video. My XBolt is shooting great, stock trigger was my only problem. Great product and evenbetter service.
Extremely fast shipping after I placed the order. Spring was easily installed at home took about 10 minutes total from start to finish. Reduced my trigger tension in half to just over 2 lbs of pull. This modification makes the factory trigger as good as most after market options available for about 1/10th the price.
I got this spring as my new Hells Canyon X-bolt rifle trigger felt heavy. It only took less than 15 minutes to install and after install I checked trigger pull with my wheeler trigger pull gauge and it registered right at 2.5 lbs. Shipping to me was reaslonably quick. Just beware this sucker is really small so be careful not to drop it.
Installed the springs in a 270 and Hell’s Canyon 300 win mag. Very well done video. Not as easy as taking down a gun to clean, but if you have any mechanical aptitude it is doable. Both guns were at 4.5-5 lbs. The springs brought them down to 2.5 lbs each. I could prob get them lower, but went to range yesterday and they worked well. Huge improvement. Highly Recomended. Gun shop wanted $125 per gun.
Spring works great was able to adjust to 2.7 lbs on a 300 win mag x bolt this is the rifle taking to Canada moose hunting, installed same spring in a x bolt 6.5 Creedmoor same results highly recommended
The trigger on my Xbolt pro was very stiff to say the least. I dropped in this trigger spring and what a difference. I never measured the trigger pull before but I did after. 2.6 lbs and I could go lighter I believe.
Super easy install. I bent a paper clip into a hook and pulled spring out. Probably best investment for a x bolt
Un saludo desde España ,buena atención ,rápido en el envió, muy buen vídeo explicativo para cambiar la piezas un ejemplo a seguir .Gracias
