I have never been thrilled with the trigger on my Browning A-Bolt in 300 Win Mag (version I). I found your video on replacing the sear spring and decided to give it a shot. What a difference that seemingly minor change has made! I don't feel like I am mashing down on the trigger any longer and can hold on target much easier. I am very pleased with the product and the results.
Product works as described. Reduced pull by over 2lbs.
Several X Bolts in the mix for my crew. Most 6.5 CM. They are sub MOA shooters with the lawyer proof triggers. Knew these rifles had potential. Ordered 5, installed two. Got the pull down to 2.5 pounds. Clean break. Both are now half inch rifles with factory ammo. Thanks.

I have installed this spring on two x-bolts In less than an hour. The spring is Perfect fit. YouTube instructions were great, both old and updated versions. Spring provided a matched 1.8 lbs trigger pull on both rifles.

I was not satisfied with the factory trigger on my Browning Hell's Canyon and found this awesome spring kit to make the trigger lighter. It was very easy to replace the factory spring with the help of the great video. I would recommend this to anyone looking to improve their Xbolt trigger!
Watched the video (still have no idea what the two punches were to be used for) and it took about 5 minutes start to finish to get it done. My factory spring shot out across the room never to be seen again so that really saved me some time. Reduced my trigger pull from 3.10 average to 2.11 average.
I've used many different drop-in triggers with my other rifles. I like a 2 to 2.5 lbs trigger pull depending on my setup. I bought a Browning X-Bolt .308 right before the 2019 NC whitetail hunting season because I like the way it fit in my shoulder, but the stock trigger sucked. I looked at drop-in trigger options, but they are very expensive for the X-Bolt. So, I figured I'd give the M*CARBO Spring Kit a try. Wow!!! After the install, I made a few adjustments and was able to get it down to a consistent 2.5 lbs. VERY BEST option for the $, vice $$$$ for a drop-in. Thank you. Semper Fi!
I purchased a Browning Hells canyon long range rifle in 28 Nosler after drawing a great Nevada elk tag. I adjusted the factory trigger down to 3.5 pounds and it was inconsistent and a little stiffer than I wanted so I decided to try a Mcarbo spring kit before spending $200 on a Timney trigger. Install went fairly smooth but I did bend factory spring while removing it my fault. After spring swap I was hoping for 2.5 pound trigger but got it to 2.25 pounds a little lower than I wanted but will get used to it. It is still a little inconsistent but I blame that on factory trigger. I’ve shot 30 rounds since and so far going to stick with it. Great fix for the price.
Works as described.. Dropped the pull weight from 4.5 to 3 lbs and could be adjusted a little lighter if needed.. The one concern I have is that the spring drops right in through the set screw hole. Sure, it makes it easier to install, however. It would likely drop out if the screw falls out. Secure the screw with lock tight and maybe even a touch of glue on the external threads.
I used this spring to reduce the trigger tension on my X-Bolt Hell's Canyon 300 WinMag and it worked as promised. My trigger tension dropped from over 4.5lbs to 2.4lbs which is where I wanted it. I could have reduced it further by about another 1lb. but preferred this trigger weight. I also appreciated the video that was used to show how to get that stock trigger out of the rifle. M*Carbo does it right!!
I have the an xbolt eclipse target and didn't wanna spend the money on a trigger so I figured I would try this first. I was getting a trigger pulled of 2 ³/4 pounds before. Put this spring in yesterday and now I'm getting a trigger pull of 1 ¹/8 pounds.
Lightened up trigger pull just as advertised. Feels much better! Great product
