This spring helps get the X Bolt trigger fully adjustable! Before I changed the spring, the best I could get was 3.5 pounds! With M Carbo spring, the trigger is fully adjustable and I have it set at 2 pounds! The spring is the answer to make the trigger fully adjustable! Great product!!
Installation of the spring is pretty straight forward. If you watch the YouTube video, you can do the install. I used a small jewelers screwdriver to pry the old spring out. After that, installation is as easy as dropping the new spring in and installing the screw. Trigger pull is noticeably less and crisp.
I just installed the MCarbo trigger sear spring kit in my X-Bolt and what a difference it has made. Before installing I had a stock trigger pull of 4lb 6oz that was crisp but heavy. After following the video from MCarbo on the install which I found very easy to perform with minimal hand tools I got the trigger now at 2lb 4oz pull weight. OMG what a perfect trigger now, thanks MCarbo your the best and at a very good price if your Browning X-Bolt needs a tuneup install this sear spring kit and you will be super happy you did.
After replacing the factory spring with this MCARBO spring, the results were amazing!. I do not have a trigger pull gauge, but I would be surprised if it was over a pound. Easy install overall, but it was a pain for me to get the factory spring out.
I have enjoyed browning rifles for quite sometime, however; the trigger pull has always been an area that needed improvement. Even with adjustment it is still stiff for my taste. This spring is an answered prayer. It is awesome!! Don’t second guess this purchase. Just get it and enjoy your browning even more. The video is spot on for installation. Thanks MCARBO!!!
From the land Down-under, Ordered the trigger spring, arrived quite quickly from across the globe. Fitted it in about 3 minutes. Trigger before with Browning spring, just under 2kg(4.2.lbs) Trigger after fitting M-CARBO spring just under 1kg (2.1lbs). Without a doubt the quickest trigger job I have ever done. Was very disappointed in the stock trigger on my new x bolt. Felt like forever before the firing pin dropped. Was about to order an aftermarket trigger when I found mcarbo spring kit online. What a difference! Watch the install video and wear eye pro as instructed. Factory spring hit me in the glasses! Just saved about $150 bucks and now have a trigger that breaks when I want it to. Customer service is superior by all accounts! Also like supporting a fellow vet - Semper Fi!

I own several x bolts,and have used timney triggers in them all Until now!!!!!!?? This is the way to go, retains the bolt lock and push button on the bolt which you lose with the timney ,and you don't have to grind on your stock either!!!!you can tell that this company is veteran owned and operated by the quality and affordablity .thank you

Received my spring today. Installed in less than 30 mins. Just make sure you remove the trigger group from the action to alleviate any tension on the spring. The latest video MCARBO but out shows this being done. The spring came out easily in one piece. Could not have been easier. I can see where it would be difficult if you do not remove the trigger group. I do not have a trigger pull scale but it feels less than half of what it was before install. I highly recommend this product.
This spring is exactly as advertised, it's very easy and simple to install. I'm very pleased with the M carbo products!
Just put the mcarbo sear spring on my new 6.8 western X bolt. The trigger was 4 lbs from the factory. Couldn’t get it below 3 1/2 when I adjusted it. Put the new spring on and now have a consistent 2 1/2lb trigger. Installation was easy.
Watched video and ordered sear spring. Installed very easy and I got trigger pull down to 2lbs and it works great. Jim
Spring works perfect, getting the old one out sucked, but installing the new one was a snap. Thank you guys.
