Great spring works perfect very easy to install followed instructions 2 1/2 lb no further adjustments needed
I wanted to thank you for my Browning X-Bolt trigger spring kit. 4.8 lbs pull from factory, not too bad Browning. 2.6 lbs pull with your $13 kit. WOW!
The spring kit did exactly what I was hoping for.. went from a 4 lbs. 5 oz. pull.. down to 2 lbs. 9 oz. put a dozen rounds through my Hells Canyon 300 WinMag.. it’s like a totally different gun. Very impressed!!! Watched the video and installation was a piece a cake.
Transformed a crisp heavy 4 lb trigger to a crisp light 1-3/4 lb trigger. Saved me from spending $175 on a new trigger, could not have been easier to do.
Once you get the original spring out it’s the easiest thing in the world to install the new one and it cut the trigger pull down a lot. Amazing instruction video was very helpful!
Impressed'
Ordered spring kit for a Browning x bolt.Didn't know exactly what the trigger pull was,but after replacing the spring it quite a bit better. There videos on replacing the spring was pretty good also. Thanks again Bruce
Hello All, I have yet to install the spring I bought from MCarbo, but I have no reserves in my purchase for the lighter spring. I wanted to have the option of choice, if that is understandable to most? Eventually I will change it out, probably, but I wanted to give the OEM spring a little time to see if it will suit my tastes better than with a lighter spring. Only time will tell and I didn't want to do it if I was happy with the OEM weight first. Doing it that way instead of the installing MCarbo spring without much time on the OEM first and the factory feel didn't make sense. For me, at least. Thank you for hearing me out. Sincerest Regards, Ken
I have 5 x bolts and I put this spring in everyone . 2lbs to 2.5lbs . I can change a spring in 15 minutes . love this product !
These springs are a must if you want to improve your accuracy , 4 springs for 4 x bolt rifles , trigger pulls are all around 2 lbs , improved my groups at further distance greatly !
Outstanding results. First one was a little tricky getting the old spring out. You will need some patients. This spring is for my second X-Bolt. I ordered a third for a friend. Should get easier right? Did not have a trigger gauge to start, so I'm not sure how much I gained but I can tell a difference. current pull weight is 2.70.
Simple and easy to install. Took seconds to switch out springs. Cut the weight down to half it seems like. This is a no brainer!
Flat out the best upgrade at an amazingly cheap price. Took my stock X bolt from 3 lbs 7 oz down to well below 2 lbs. I set mine to 1 lbs 14 oz. And wow it feels great and shoots great also. Very crisp and no creep. Also super easy to install, was able to get the stock spring out without damaging it, no problem.
I don't have a trigger pull guage but the before and after was obvious. The most difficult part was getting the old spring out (that little boss really grabs it). I ended up stretching the OEM spring out as it was not completely loose, but the improvement was such that I can't imagine going back. I set the adjustment at .100 protruding, tested the results and then used thread locker to set at that adjustment. Your video was great as my old eyes need an idea as to what I'm looking for. Thanks. By the way, the quick shipping response meant the package arrived well before the expected delivery time.
Few things in this life deliver what they promise. Even fewer do it for under $15. The MCarbo spring for XBolts delivered. Received the spring. Chuckled that it looked like a bic pen spring. Followed the great video for an easy install, tightened the set screw down fully hoping to get something just under 3 lbs. Tested it with a trigger pull device. Right at 2lb 14 ounces (at heaviest setting with new spring). I'm not chuckling anymore. Y'all did us a solid by making this one. Don Leonard Columbus, OH
Installed on my Stainless Stalker. Was able to get the factory trigger down to 3 lbs 8 oz and the Mcarbo spring brought me down to just over 2lbs with room to adjust up a down. Shipping was crazy fast and customer service is top notch!
