The insatalation wasn’t as simple as the video for me but once I got the old spring out the rest was a breeze! I managed to get my trigger pull down to about 2#. I finally got to shoot it yesterday and wow!!! I love it!!! I’ll be recommending this for a couple of my buddies who shoot X Bolts!!!
I watched the YouTube video instructions and was able to replace my stock spring without too much difficulty. I will say that the video suggested removing the barrel and action from the stock, but I found that that was not a necessary step. Prior to the change-out I had adjusted my new X bolt trigger down to 3.75 lb with the stock spring and set screw. With the new spring from MCarbo I have it down to 2.5 lb and I am very pleased. Thank you!
Great trigger pull for just a few bucks!
First off thanks M Carbo for your military service. was getting ready to spend almost 200$ on a drop in trigger when I stumbled across this spring upgrade. install was fast and smooth, went from 4# trigger to a really nice 2#trigger just what I was looking for. more reloading equipment on the way with the money I saved with this purchase.... thanks
I got the trigger down to 1 1/2 pounds. I had to do more work on the trigger on the X-Bolt to get it down to 1 1/2 pounds. The spring got the trigger pull down to 2 pounds from 4 pounds. The spring performs as advertised.
I am extremely pleased with the results. My new X-bolt had a trigger pull of 4.8 lbs and the adjustment would not go any lower. I now have a 2.10 lb trigger pull and it was easy enough to install that i was able to do it even with my 82 year old shaky hands.
I have 6 Brownings and I replaced all the springs. They all work great and are very easy to install, highly recommend.

The spring worked great. Instructional video was very informative and easy to follow. I didn't take the trigger assembly off the rifle and was still able to accomplish the change. Brought it down to about 2.5 lbs. Worth the money and effort. This company was incredible. Product was exactly what I expected and they were incredible on ship time. This is the second replacement spring that I have used for both my Browning rifles and they have worked great decreasing trigger pull by half. Work so well me and my buddy put one in his Winchester model 70 and his trigger pull is at 2.5lb. Great Product and thanks for your service.
What a great value. My trigger pull was reduced by over 50%.. The old spring was a little tricky getting out. Shipping was fast. I will be a repeat customer.
I have the Browning Hell’s Canyon Speed and the trigger pull is really heavy out of the box. The upgrade options for the trigger are very limited so I decided to give the Mcarbo spring a try.....and I am so impressed. The trigger pull is now about 2.5- 3lbs with no creep and it breaks like glass. I have shot for several months working up some reloads and couldn’t be happier with trigger now. I have two friends that have the same rifle and they got the Mcarbo spring installed too- it’s a game changer. A tip for the install- take a micro flathead screwdriver and push the spring down and towards the opening and hold it there so you can take a dental pick and grab it and pull it out the side. I hope this helps and I really love to shoot my rifle now all because of this little spring, it made a HUGE difference!!!

Removing spring following instructions from second video was easy. Spring actually popped out before I expected it to. So I have the original spring if I or someone needs one. Replacement spring went right and I adjusted to 2 1/2 pounds and extremely happy. I followed instructions in video about taking measurements and if you don’t have a caliber use a machinist ruler. You can just count the threads. Thank you Mcarbo for this product
