The M Carbo X bolt trigger spring takes the X Bolt rifle from a excellent gun to an exceptional gun. My trigger went from 4.2 lbs to 2 lbs with adjustments left to go up or down in pull weight. A fine product made by Folk's who care bout their customers.
Well I got the rifle a few weeks ago and thought the trigger was OKAY at best. It had a little creep (travel) in the trigger before the gun wound actually go off. I have shot everything from timney triggers jewl you name it I’ve shot it. Well I was looking at a cheaper option and found this spring and said he’ll for this price let’s just give it a shot. WOW if this trigger wasn’t gold you would think it was aftermarket. Best 15$ I have ever spent
I put in a Mcarbo trigger spring in my Browning A Bolt 2 years ago the results were outstanding. I just put another in my X bolt max long range 6.5 PRC and had the same excellent results. I did have to destroy the original spring to get it out. but the new trigger was worth it. The instructional video was spot on. Thanks
The spring arrived promptly and with great follow-up from Mcarbo. Installation was very simple. The old spring was not as difficult to remove as I had imagined. The new trigger spring is Great!!!

This spring made the best produced rifle even better. Stock trigger spring was at 3.5 pounds at the lowest. With the new spring it's right at 2 pounds. Simply amazing. No creep and no over travel. Clean and crisp. Best 12 dollars I ever spent on a rifle.
The spring kit was easy to install. Got the trigger down to 2.5. would like to see a spring kit from 1.5 to 3 lbs. I would recommend this spring kit.
Install was tricky but fantastic results! The trigger pull was the only flaw in the rifle until now just under 2lbs with new spring

This trigger spring is an inexpensive, and easy way to make a really great trigger for a hunting rifle. Highly recommend!
It was easy to install. The trigger is a lot lighter. Haven’t checked pull weight yet. It is a lot better then factory.
I replaced the factory spring that even after adjusting could not be lightened below 3.4 lbs and was sent from the factory at 4.2lbs. The process of replacing the spring took 30 min with proper tools. I now have a very crisp 2.0 trigger.
On my recent purchase of the Browning X Bolt trigger spring. I received a package from M Carbo , I opened it and my spring was not in the package, so I was pretty upset . I contacted M Carbo about the issue and their rep apologized about the problem and told me there would be a replacement sent out promptly. So I was at work and I got a call from my wife at home, she informed me that she had found a little spring in the bathroom floor, I knew instantly that I had dropped the spring when I opened the package. I contacted M Carbo the next morning and apologized to them for the mishap. Customer service told me they understood and that things just happened sometime and that I could just keep the other spring and wouldn’t have to send it back. Outstanding Customer Service ! Now to the performance of the spring: Great improvement over the factory spring . I don’t have a trigger gauge but believe me it’s worth the money. Trigger pull weight is at least cut by 50% and probably more if you want it that light. There is some side to side slip in the trigger but it’s no fault of the spring, it’s the factory trigger. Outstanding Product !
The spring works exactly as advertised. The DIY video regarding the way to do the replacement proved to be right on. The Browning factory trigger had an original minimum pull weight of 3.75 lbs. After installing the M*Carbo spring the minimum pull weight was reduced to 2.6 lbs. I gave the spring a rating of 4 because i would have liked to see the minimum pull weight closer to 1.5 lbs.
Great service from M*CARBO with video instructions. By removing the trigger block from the barrel you further release the tension on the original manufacturers spring and it comes out quite easy. Still to be live tested but feels great
Tested trigger pull with Wheeler trigger pull gauge three times for a 4.2# average with the factory sear spring. After installing the McCarbo sear spring, which was incredibly easy to do, I was able to set the trigger at 2.5# where I wanted it. Crisp clean trigger pull. Highly recommended!
