took bout 5 min to installed, did a lot of research for the 930 trigger cuz i always disliked the 6-7 pound pull.. now the pull is around 3.5 and feels great! you will love this easy upgrade and so far had no trouble.
Great upgrade for Mossberg 930, trigger spring arrived on-time, easy installation and better than stock.
Installed in my 930, was quick and easy. Trigger pull is lighter.
I ordered the spring on Monday. I received my order on Wednesday when I got home from work. I was impressed with the fast shipping as they told me it would be. Also the quality of the product was as promised and more. I would and will recommend this company to others. Thank you for your promptness and quality.
Easy to install works like it should and great customer follow up thanks Chris
I checked the trigger pull with the stock spring and it was 5.5 pounds and when I put the mcarbo spring in it was still 5.5 but it claims it should take it to 3.5
The spring is as easy to install as the video shows and made a noticeable difference in feel on my new 930. Shipped fast and great follow up customer service to be sure I was happy. Thanks MCarbo!
USPS delivered this 20 minutes before I was leaving for an out of state turkey hunt. I quickly installed the sear spring in my 930 turkey gun, did a quick function check then drove 12.5 hours to S Florida for an Osceola turkey hunt. I fired one test round when I got to camp (mainly to confirm my red dot). It was a noticeable difference in trigger pull; much smoother. 2 hours later shot a second time and dropped my turkey. The target pattern is at 31.5 yards and the turkey was 30 yards. Both were dead center.
MCARBO makes buying and upgrading parts so easy. The unconditional lifetime warranty is something that made me more confident of my purchase. For my Mossberg 930 SPX the trigger pull was 5-5.5 lb. To install, you simply use a punch to take the fire control unit out of the shotgun, take out the old spring, insert the new spring, align the holes and place the pins back in. I get a nice crisp 3.8 pounds from my Timney manual trigger scale. The action is so much more comfortable. It is definitely an easy and worthwhile upgrade. I highly recommend it.
