Installing this thing is a pain in the a@@. I’m gonna send it back with my Kel-Tec when I’m ready for the internal parts install, and have them put it in.
So, i purchased this and the heavy brass bolt from keltec to work with the 9mm. I was worried it wouldn't cycle, but this in tandem with the kel tec heavy bolt cycled fine even with sub sonic loads (noticed that not a single person on the interwebs had mentioned this combo). As far as the recoil itself, the 9mm already had very little recoil, and there was a 3 week pause in between sessions, so im not sure. Recoil and cycle issues aside, this FEELS SO MUCH BETTER than the oem charging handle. I had one of those grips/cover things on the oem charging handle, and it just didn't feel good. But this charging handle just feels so right, and since it's bigger, it makes it easier and more comfortable to rack the rifle. Definitely like all the products i purchased so far from mcarbo, thanks guys
Idk why they made the charging handle so finicky but this is the perfect upgrade. Does exactly what it is supposed to.
Perfect fit and function. Nice cushion. Combined this recoilless Charging Handle with their recoil buffer, Muzzle Brake/compensator and folding sight. These parts all fit like a glove and reduce the .40 cal recoil to less that a 22LR. Great precision products, service and price.
Glad I took a chance on MCARBO parts for my 9mm Sub 2000. I started with the tube cover, recoil buffer, and the recoilless Charging handle (my favorite). Like the texture and fit of the tube cover, the recoil buffer absolutely works and reduces recoil some and protects the rifle. I love the feel of the recoilless charging handle. Reducing recoil is nice but it’s worth the price for the feel, heft, and looks alone! Also bought the stainless feed ramp (the one absolutely gotta have part) but decided to wait and include a Performance trigger job at the same time, results later. MCARCBO has super fast courteous customer service and they sent a code with my 1st order for a discount on my next purchase..... Brilliant idea , and it worked. Liked my parts so much, that I bought them AGAIN for my 40S&W Sub 2000!
First of all, the item was delivered a day early than expected. Secondly, recoilless handle works as described; works effortless and very easy to install - less than 5 minutes!

Even during these troubling shipment was fast. The product made charging the firearm a lot easier and the firearm showed great improvement in recoil management.
Installation was pretty straightforward. One hiccup I pulled the trigger and dropped the hammer my heart stopped for a minute thinking I just junked the rifle . Got my thoughts together and figured out in about 2 minutes I can fix it with my fingers next time I pull the bolt out guns goes on safe lesson learned . Definitely reduced recoil noticeably. Will proudly shop with mcarbo again .
I just got this charging handle in the mail and went right to my bench for install. I bought some other parts so knowing how to disassemble my sub was easy. I started a time clock and in less than one minute the charging handle was installed and ready to go. It feels really great and functions flawlessly. Now if I only had an indoor range in my basement!
Installation videos was a great help. The install was incredibly, no issues with the locking pin whatsoever. Fired a few hundred rounds, not certain about the reduction of the recoil though but it looks good and is easier to grip when charging the sub2000.
Great product and super easy to install. You can definitely feel the difference when charging back on this handle versus the stock handle. Excellent products by an excellent company!!
This, plus the buffet washer, really seemed to reduce the recoil.
Installed along with "lifesaver". Locking screw was a bit tedious to install but the "grease trick" helped. Noticed a substantial improvement with the stability of the charging handle. The original charging handle always seemed to be a "sloppy". This handle, along with the locking screw felt more attached. Also easier to actually pull back to lock in place. Again, a quality improvement product.
Like both the size for assist in charging, and the lessened punch. You would not think so much recoil -- but with the blowback design, it's a chunk of metal that rolls you more than you would think for a 9mm. Nice design -- do watch the install video, as you do need a bit more positioning for setup over the other charging handles.
