One of the most important considerations in upgrading my S2K was limiting felt recoil to make the rifle a more appealing option for my wife who has complained about the recoil from my AR. In addition to their charging handle, I also added a muzzle break, “Cherry Lifesaver”, MCARBO charging tube cover, and a recoil pad (sorry, an arguably more effective non-MCARBO product). The result has been an amazingly comfortable to the shoulder solution. One absolutely HUGE innovation that I personally would not want to live without is the SS integrated locking pin that replaces the standard connector of the charging spring. This eliminates potential extreme frustration of limitless attempts to fit the pin into the hole on the flat side of the handle. One important piece of advice: Watch the installation video for tips on getting that little bad boy on the end of the spring. Challenging? Yes. Worth the effort? Unquestionably. One final thought - the chubbiness of the handle is definitely easier on the fingers. Just be sure to release the handle when you store the rifle. I forgot to do this once and got a finger caught between the handle and charging tube as it sprung/loaded (see photo).
This charging handle makes it 200 time easier to charge my SUB 2000. Small enough to not be in the way but big enough to get a really great grip on. Buy it you won’t regret it.
I didn't think the original charging handle was that bad, but after installing this one, would never go back to original. Very easy to install, about 2 minutes.
I bought the charging handle and the recoil buffer and the difference is night and day!
In an attempt to reduce the recoil on my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 I bought and installed the MCARBO Recoilless Charging Handle, the Recoil Buffer washer, the Buttstock Pad, and the MCARBO Bolt Tube Cover. I just got back from the shooting range, and was astonished at the difference! I shot a 100 rounds and the felt recoil is now at least 50% reduced if not more. Recoil is now not a factor on this weapon. Thanks MCARBO, great products!
Wow! I spent TWO hours trying to get the darn MCarbo pin installed. I guess I'll have to go to local gunsmith to get installed. If I had known it was going to be this difficult, I would have passed on getting a new charging handle. The handle itself looks great, but I've got to get it installed before I can say much more. Right now I have a non-functional Sub-2000.
Now I think this is by far the best idea out there. Great thought process and design on this product. I will say to everyone who gets one of these. You need to watch the video and keep your little ones hidden from you because there will be a high probability that the F bomb will be dropped a few times. Once in hammer some rounds through it it is a true night and day difference. Great Product
The charging handle is a must, the one that comes with the rifle had you fingers sore after a few times pulling it.
This up grade makes chargeing the rifle to fire more easyier.

Let’s face it any thing is better then the factory charging handle. That being said the MCARBO handle is great and the company seems to be pretty cool. It’s veteran owned and I like to support my brothers and you should too.
shipping was super fast everything that I ordered was there. I found using a pencil with an eraser on the end worked well to locate the locking pin will be adding one of these to the wife's 40 cal. next order

Added this to my kel tec along with muzzle brake and the dampening ring and has helped a lot with recoil. Very satisfying to charge the gun with this.
