When I installed the new pull handle I tilted my rifle and the bolt and all slid out. I accidentally grabbed the trigger and the hammer fell, and I found that it took a while to reassemble the rifle, as I had to turn a dowel on my lathe. The pull woks quite well and is well made. I recommend any one installing this to be careful to not do what I did.

Would of gave it 5 stars but I honestly could barely tell the reduction in recoil, also did a muzzle break at the same time. Install was rediculously easy though, finished while I was brushing my teeth before work.
I just bought this Kel Tec Sup 2000 less that 2 months ago. I've made this upgrade, along with the bolt tube cover and the optic mount. For this upgrade, changing out the recoil spring end wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, (I used 2 2mm allen wrenches and wore a glove), and the handle switch was pretty painless after that. The first couple shots after the upgrade, the shells did not eject fast enough and got caught, but after that, it's been smooth. I plan on upgrading my trigger and trigger assembly and hammer bushing before too long.
Just installed it, haven't taken it to the range yet. You can do the install without using a magnetic screwdriver or grease on the pin, you just have to manipulate it a little bit.
Installation video was super helpful Inadvertently took out the bolt head and bolt head assembly, when I put it back it did not go all the way in - I viewed reassembly videos and learn you have to put your finger inside ejection port and push down the hammer mechanism and bolt whole bolt assembly slide through easily. Charging handle feels much more substantial. Going to range to see change in recoil experience. Will come back with an update. Looking forward to doing further upgrades to my Sub 2000!
Recoil management 101
Really does reduce felt recoil significantly. I also inserted the grommet they sell and this combination makes a world of difference. Inserting it so the pin you add to the spring is a major pain and takes me about 10 minutes every time I clean the weapon.
7 hours... 7 hours fighting this damn spring and the aluminum end piece is still not installed. I've got two nice dents in my ceiling though. Better wear safety glasses! I have performed numerous upgrades on all my firearms, including other products from M-CARBO. Unless you've invested a lot of money in shop tools just take it to an armorer and pay them to "mother-f" this upgrade. I've yet to find a way to work the spring down enough to give enough room and leverage to install the aluminum cap without the tension of the spring suddenly shifting forcing the other end of to eject the spring releasing all that energy. I'm a little suspicious with that video on YouTube. I suspect the spring was cut down for the instructional video with how easy it was to simply pop on and off the new end piece. But this is personal now. Nothing has fought me like this since reconnecting the steel brake lines of the a 16 year old Acura from the rust belt and I'm not going to let this damn thing best me. This Recoilless Charging Handle definitely feels nicer than the original but I already hate this Kel-Tec SUB2000 and I haven't even fired one round. Save yourself the time of posting a smart-ass comment because I truly don't care what you think. Just know what you're getting yourself into and if you don't have an equiped workshop, either pay them or pay an armorer to do this pita of an upgrade.
My Sub 2000 is .40 S&W, before installing the recoilless charging handle, it wasn’t a lot of fun to shoot, just a little too much recoil. I installed bothcarlswedberg@gmail.com recoilless charging handle and recoil buffer, now the recoil is definitely a good 60-75% less.
It’s pretty easy to install, but if you watch the video... It’s sooo easy to install. Great product!
I struggle with mild arthritis and the OEM charging handle just didn't work for me. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone with or without hand problems. It is so much easier to grip and the added weight really does less felt recoil (not that it was that bad to begin with!). It was a challenge to install, but not impossible, even with my hands!
I recently purchased a Gen 2 Sub2K and this was 3 of 4 modifications made to the rifle before its 1st range event. Removal of OEM part and installation of the new charging handle went well. It's recommended to watch the MCarbo installation video to ensure the parts fit without much fuss. The longest part of the job was to align the small locking pin inside the bolt extension. The video reviews this aspect but this is something that requires "feel". Installation goes much faster with practice. The charging handle performed exceptionally well during dry-firing and live-fire exercises. Its larger mass and larger diameter knob makes it easy to operate the bolt and hold it open. I'm very satisfied with this charging handle!

This was my first upgrade for my SUB-2000. If you haven't done this upgrade... you need to it makes it a heck of a lot easier to pull the bolt, it's got a nice weight to it and it makes the sub look better and another easy installment from the video. Thanks again for super fast shipping and excellent product.
