Not much to say about this except it works. Save yourself some time and frustration and just get one. It will work on the Mossberg as well as other applications.
Perfectly made to fit my 835 trigger assembly like a glove. Made installation a snap. If you don't get one of these for your Mossberg install you're missing out. As a by-product, I needed a block for my 870 to limit the mag tube to two rounds for bird hunting and this dowel is the perfect size for limiting 2 3/4" shells to 2.5.
Yes you need this tool. It makes the Trigger Spring Kit install much smoother. You actually need it for both springs. It really helped me make fast work of the job.

This thing does make getting the assembly pin in and out a breeze. Also helps positioning the trigger spring.
Great little tool for the job, made things WAY easier, I looked at the install vids, one with the tool, and one without,,, needless to say I saw a lot of fumbling and hand stands going on in the vid without the tool, made the job go in less that 20 min with the tool
It does what it say it does, and it does it very well. It definitely sped up installation time.
