Well, take that figure and compare that to $1.97. One helluva time saver.
Handy little tool thanks for not charging an arm and a leg
Definitely made installation easier. For $1.95, you can't go wrong, even if you only do one trigger.
I could have just made it myself but it is not that expensive and I was already buying the spring kit for the Mossberg so I figured what the heck, when I received it with the spring kit I attempted to see if it was any harder without the tool and this little nifty tool made a difference in installing the hammer spring for sure. If you are going to install the Mossberg 500/835 spring kit throw one of these in there for good measure it's cheap and it works.
This little, simple tool made the spring install so much easier. Wouldn't suggest doing it without one.
This cutting edge piece of future tech! So simple in design that it was clearly stolen from some kind of all knowing super being and given to we mere mortals like fire from Olympus!.... It’s a bit of dowel rod with a notch cut in it.... but it functions like it was designed by a super computer! Get one, it’s worth it.
Good morning M*CARBO Brotherhood! Just wanted to make you all aware of an issue I’ve had with the Mossberg 500/835 Trigger Spring Assembly tool. I’ve already purchased two and they have both broken. I have a Mossberg 590A1 and it actually has two trigger springs (in addition to the trigger return spring). There’s a smaller diameter spring that slides over the hammer plunger and the larger spring that is replaced by the M*CARBO spring. I’ve tried twice to use the installation tool. Because of the extra spring, it’s very hard to get the springs to compress enough to get the pin installed. I’ve gone through two installation tools and beat up the trigger housing. I finally had to get a hex key to push the pin and my wife tapped it all the way in. The spring was preventing the pin from seating properly in the hole. Anyway, if anyone has a 590A1 with dual springs, you will most likely run into this problem. I own a ton of M*Carbo products which I’m extremely happy with so I don’t want you all to think I’m bashing the company. They make very good quality stuff. I think it’s hard to test a product on all of the different versions it applies to. Mr. Nelson - As a suggestion, you might want to update your video to include the two trigger springs included with the Mossberg 590A1. I’m assuming you keep the secondary spring. Thanks for taking the time to listen to my issue!
Made replacing the springs a breeze. Glad I purchased this tool
This handy & simple device makes installing your trigger spring a snap. Costs about the same as a pack of gum, but you’ll use it forever. Without this tool, re-installing the trigger spring is touchy, and difficult. Do yourself a favor, buy this tool! MCarbo’s customer service is impeccable. They constantly communicate through the shipping process, then after you receive the product. Military veteran owned. I love this company!
Made the removal and assembly easy.
As always, Chris and company think up a great product, produce it, make a great instructional video and ship it. The tool was received very quickly and made short work of assembly and disassembly of my Mossberg 590's trigger pack. Highly recommended!
This simple little tool mix the assembly come apart and go back together much easier! You could probably make one but this fits perfect!
I used the tool to do 3 shotgun trigger jobs and it worked flawlessly. It held up well and will do more if needed. Well worth the investment for the right tool for the job.
It broke. Still have not replaced the spring.
Either increase the cost of the spring kit by $2 and include this or at least have an optional drop down to where you can add it to the spring kit. Just had to order it separately after already ordering and receiving my spring kit and the shipping is 3 times the cost of this damn thing.
Fit perfectly and works. Only concern is the wood and the gun oil don't know how it will affect its life span vs one made of a resin/plastic.
