I purchased the Savage axis trigger kit and was shocked at how much a simple modification could improve my shooting. I'm already recommending it to everyone I know.
The Axis Kit was simple to install with banner results. The instructional video was effective and simplistic. My son did the work within 15 minutes....getting 3.5 lbs. pull now. MCarbo has got it going!
Kit was easy to install especially with the video. Lowered the trigger pull poundage as advertised. Makes a usable trigger in the axis.

Super easy to install after watching the video, less than 5 min needed. It came with 2 springs one for a 3.5 lb pull and one for a 2.5 pound pull. I installed the 2.5 pound spring and was rewarded with a smooth light pull. Best 20 bucks I’ve spent in some time. Thanks MCarbo!
I am very happy with this trigger kit. Prompt delivery, easy to install. The trigger kit smoothed the pull out to a nice break. This product is much better then fooling around cutting springs and looking through hardware store springs to find the right spring to fit. It's right to the point and done.
Easy to install. Came with 2 springs. Used the 2.5. Adjusted overtravel to nill. Trigger seems much better. Will go to range soon for testing and will report back.
Received the parts a day earlier than expected, very simple instal after watching your video. Not sure exactly how much it reduced the pull but it was noticeable improvement, I look forward to my next range trip, thanks Mcarbo will be making future purchases

This kit reduced the trigger pull, smoothed out some of the grittiness, and was easy to install, especially if you follow along the instructional video on MCarbo’s website.
bought this kit to accommodate a boyds stock.i have a timney trigger that would have required some alterations to the stock.this kit worked perfect for my application.very nice upgrade at a reasonable price
Bought an Axis and it came with a 5# trigger pull. Ordered and installed your spring/overtravel screw and took the pull all the way down to an unsafe 1 1/2 pound level. Put the factory spring back in and returned the Mcarbo spring/screw for credit. Note—when reinstalling the factory spring, screwed down the tapered section as far as it would go (past the previous waxed in point) and the trigger pull dropped down to a more reasonable 3#.
I installed the pro kit on my axis, using the video for reference. smooth install, The shims tightened up trigger movement side to side very well,It was nice to have the grease in the kit, along with reduced trigger pull. I could not measure it but felt lighter.
