Parts were very easy to install. Time is about 30 minutes. Made a tremendous difference in accuracy and shootability of my Savage Axis rifle. Website was very easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. Quality of the parts are excellent. Would highly recommend this site to anyone. Response to order and shipping was excellent as well.
The trigger spring kit made a big difference on my wife's savage axis the trigger pull before was very hard to pull you would end up jerking the trigger after a while now the trigger pull is very smooth and accuracy is very good compared to before keep up the good work thank you very much
Installed these kits on two Axis rifles. Both have very light and crisp triggers now, no need to drop bucks on a Accutrigger set up when these kits work so well.
I am super happy with the results of my recent installation. I used the 2.5lb spring provided in the spring kit and it measured 2.25lbs after assembly. Additionally, the shims included in the kit worked really well. The M-Carbo installation video simplified the installation process too. I have installed two kits now and would highly recommend.
The video instructions were easy to follow. Installation was simple and there was a night and day difference in the trigger pull. Wonderful product. I recommend it for anyone with a savage axis.

Very easy to install and brought my trigger pull from 61/2 lbs down to 21/2 lbs which made a very big difference in my shooting. Not only easy to install but also quick ( about 20 minutes) Thank you McCarbo for a great product. Ken Avery
When I received the new rifle I immediately ordered the Pro Trigger Kit for it. The installation was not difficult. The trigger now performs as I want it too. (I need a light trigger pull.) The only problem was when the small clip went flying. It took a few minutes to find it. Don't let the clip go flying. I seriously discovered how dirty my kitchen floor was. This really low cost gun is very capable of a 1 MOA group at 100 yards. Something I would never achieve with a harder trigger pull. Semper Fi
Just finished the Pro Trigger upgrade on our Axis 243. The video was a masterpiece and made all go smoothly. Trigger pull went from 6.25 down to 3.5 measured with a Wheeler Trigger Pull Scale. Took about 20 minutes including trips back and forth to the video/computer. Thank you!
Trying to order from this country is an exercise in frustration. They use clowns to program their web store checkout process. I told them about the issues and a couple months later their web site function was still AFU.
This product was extremely simple to install. Short search on YouTube prior to buying showed me a video from the guys at mcarbo on instal process. Followed it to a t and it works perfect! Much better trigger pull now.
Not new to guns, but new to Mcarbo. Have not found a business more concerned about customer satisfaction. The Axis trigger improvement kit is exactly that and could not be more pleased with the results! I will be back!
Fandamtastic service! Installed the trigger kit with amazing results. Third Axis conversion I’ve done, but first with Mcarbo kit, wish I used it on the other two. Word of advice, when seating the spring in the retainer pocket, gently push the spring ahead making sure it’s fully seated, otherwise the trigger assembly may ride on a spring coil. Minor issue with a simple fix.
Simple instal and took about ten minutes after watching the great video. I dont have a way to test the weight reduction but i would say closer to 50%-60%. Its as good as the trigger on my CA Mesa that is at 2.5 lbs and on now on a $299 savage that shoots better!
I installed 3.5lb spring and shims in my 7mm-08 that is used primarily for hunting. All I can say is if you are wondering if the $20 is worth it, it is 100% worth it, just buy it. I didn’t measure the trigger pull before/after the install, but it is a drastic improvement, reset is crisp too. The included shims are fantastic, basically no side-to-side trigger wobble. Save yourself the ~$100 and get this kit instead of a replacement trigger. Will certainly recommend this kit to anyone who has/gets a non-Accutrigger Axis.
