I recently purchased a nex savage axis 25-06 at a Black Friday sale and after sighting it in I decided that the trigger was horrible. I put it on the scales and it was almost 8lbs. Googled triggers and found this kit for $20 and thought what the heck I will give it a shot. Delivery was spot on had the kit within a week and installed it in about 5 minutes after watching the install video. Great job guys!
I installed this kit and can't believe the difference. I was about to buy a Timney Trigger for $130 but thought I would give this a try first. Takes out all the play and cuts the trigger pull in half. Use the lube and you will have a super smooth, crisp pull.
I won my savage axis in a gun raffle... Shot it and the trigger suckkksssssss!!!! It was so gritty and very long. I bought the pro-kit and holy crap what a difference. The trigger is very crisp and takes less effort to pull. If I buy another axis, this is the first thing I would buy. Period.
As an avid hunter and professional Gunsmith this kit is not not only one of the safest but precise kits I’ve seen in a while. It’s surpassed expectations and proven itself time and time again - specially while making those difficult shots through the Florida wood stalking Boar’s and making a good ethical shot in the most difficult places.
I’ve ordered and installed 2 of these kits on 2 separate rifles and the results have been more than I expected! Easy to install after watching the video. I don’t think a better or more simpler kit can be found! First rifle had kit installed just over a year ago and has had several hundred rounds through it and trigger is still just as crisp and works flawlessly. Would and will buy a 3rd one!
Just about 10 min and I have an axis trigger that actually feels like a trigger!! Went in like expecting it to and shot even better! Took my 1.34 groups to .345 @ 100! 6.5 creedmore. Yep, just a spring, a screw... but a world of difference. No slop, no overtravel just a good clean break!! You guys at MCARBO definitely know how to help the weekend shooter without breaking the bank! Was gonna drop in a new trigger assembly but this kit did the trick! Thanks so much A
I'm far from a practiced long range shooter, but managed to make some great shots with this rifle once I got the trigger kit in. I inherited my Savage, and it was bone stock. I took it to the range to zero in the sight and couldn't even get a solid group from 100 yards. My primary issue being that the rifle came with a ridiculously heavy trigger pull. After looking around, I got this kit and took it to a long distance range called Fouled Bore in Oklahoma (stellar place to shoot, if your nearby). Once I got there, I was able to dial in my sight in a few rounds, and quickly started putting metal on metal. I hit a 3/8" group at 200 yds, and then, with help of a great spotter, managed to push it out to 800 yards. Literally the ballistic end of the dirt cheap ammo I bought. There isn't a chance in hell I'd have managed that without this trigger kit. I'm not a bad shooter, but the trigger kit is what allowed me to make good, consistent trigger pulls, without straining or shifting my aim point. Needless to say, this is the absolute best option for the money if you want to improve your rifle but dont have a lot of money to sling around.

I have been dealing with a crappy trigger on a Savage axis for a few years to the point I haven't shot it in a year. I was looking for lighter ar springs when I found this site. I saw they had a trigger kit for the axis and thought why not it's 20 bucks. I can say I am impressed with the vast improvement in trigger pull and feel. I will be using more of the products with all my customers triggers.
My Axis had a 5.6lb trigger pull and I was frustrated at having flyers due to the hard trigger. I bought the pro kit and watched the video. 5 minutes later and it's like smooth as glass. A crisp break with a dab of let off. Pew pew

This was so easy to install. Watched the video and was completed in 20 minutes start to finish. I used the 2.5 lb spring and perfect for what I use the rifle for. Used the Loctite and reinstalled the set screw and reassembled.
I recently bought a savage XP 7mm-08 and went to the range and boy was that trigger hard around 6+ lbs. So the next day I went online and found these guys and boy am I impressed with the quality and ease of installation. I bought an extra trigger kit just in case, and liked it so much, I also put the extra kit on my savage xp 243. These guys are my go to folks for all my aftermarket accessary needs.
