I was kind of skeptical that a $20 part kit would change the Savage trigger enough to make me happy. I figured what the heck I wasted that kind of money on other stuff, so I ordered it. It was actually easier to put in then I was figuring, it took out about 95% of the wobble in the trigger and reduce a trigger pound by at least 1/3 if not more. So I would highly recommend this to anybody that has a Savage Axis.
Seems pretty decent so far. Definitely dropped a solid 2 pounds off the pull. Trigger shimmy is 99% eliminated. My daughter loves her rifle again.
This trigger kit went way over my expectations. It was easy to install and made a huge difference in my trigger and accuracy with the rifle will definitely be using Mcarbo in the future

Easy installation. Could only install one washer on trigger pin. Reduced pull weight from 4.7 to 2.4 on my gage.

The kit was a breeze to install. Chris does a great installation video I had it running in the background for reference. The kit cut my trigger pull from 5+ to 3 pounds and smooth out the pull and no more triggle wiggle.

The stock axis made me want to sell this little savage .308. I ordered this two months ago, and the kit disappeared before I could install it. Ordered it again, dropped it in. Took longer to watch the video than it did to actually install it. Even having to order the damn kit twice due to my own screwup, I'm extremely happy with the kit and will recommend it, or MCARBO to anyone that will listen.
