I am super happy with the results of this pro spring kit. I dont have the tool to measure the difference but i can tell you, that it is so much better and smoother. The instal was a breeze. I simply followed along with the install video and and within a few minutes I had a better shooting rifle. I would recommend this kit to anyone who has a Savage Axis with the factory trigger.
I researched these kits before I got each of my boys a Savage Axis for a Christmas present. I ordered the kits and they were delivered promptly in the mail. Only took a few minutes to install and what an upgrade, a world of difference in trigger pull, which in turn made the gun easier to shoot and more accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to order this kit again.
This kit works great! The trigger is light and crisp with no creep or overtravel. The shims took away all the side play perfectly. According to my scale, the kit removed 2lbs of weight from the pull. It's a night and day difference from the original trigger. This is well worth the money!

Works great!! Had to tap 2nd washer (shim) in with little hammer. Fast and easy worth every penny!
I recently ordered two of these, one for my 6.5 creedmoor and one for a friends 7mm-08, and did the installs upon arrival. The kits were shipped out and delivered with haste, and made it to my door days before I expected them to. I ordered a mag and action spring from another online company, and still have not received them, 4 days after I had gotten my kits. So they exceed standards with shipping. The product itself installed and works flawlessly, with A little guidance from the video on YouTube. So 5 stars, well done soldiers!!!
Ordered the trigger on a Tuesday Night with a delivery date for the next Monday; received it on Saturday. Easy install thanks to the online video. Trigger pull was 50% lighter and eliminated the trigger side to side movement. Price is a bit high for what you get but works so it’s justified.
Kit came super quickly and was super easy to install. I will say not all Axis rifles need the shim kit but it's nice having it.
Ordered the pro trigger kit to fix the savage axis stiff trigger from factory. Easy to install only takes about 20 min tops. No more side to side slop in the trigger. Can't wait to get to the range and test it out.
I bought a Savage Axis new out of the box and quickly went to the range to try it out. The factory trigger has a really stiff pull and was kind of sticky. I searched for a fix and was pleasantly surprised to find MCarbo and their trigger upgrade kit. The price was a fraction of what I expected, so I was just sure the installation would be complicated. I watched the YouTube install video, saw how easy it was, and couldn’t order the kit fast enough. I’m a novice with guns, so the 10 minute upgrade took me more like 20 minutes. But once it was complete, I was amazed how the sticky, stiff trigger pull is now light and silky smooth. Totally worth the money and the install video was 100% accurate. Great product, great company and great leadership. I’m not Army, but Hooah!
I got the Pro Trigger Kit and the whole process has been fantastic. Fast shipping, very thorough Youtube installation video link provided, easy installation (even for us mechanically challenged types), and huge improvement in trigger function. Not only is the trigger very crisp, but the wobble is gone. For the price, i can't imagine a better investment for your Axis.
Installation took about 10 to 15 min, a 5 year old could do it! The price was right and the product is high quality! I shot a 1/2" group at 100 yds, shooting off of a porch railing, with my Savage Axis 6.5 creedmoor . The trigger is now light and crisp!!!! MCARBO, YOU NAILED IT!!!!!
Anyone who owns the Savage Axis knows that the trigger is absolute garbage. When I saw this Pro Kit I will admit I was very skeptical about it but I ordered it anyway. I absolutely love this Pro Kit upgrade. Due to the reduced trigger pull there are no more flyers in my shot groups. If you have the Axis this purchase is a MUST. I promise you will not be let down. I am going on a hog hunt and decided to buy an SKS. Wanted to take the SKS along with my Savage axis. After practicing with both guns, I noticed an extreme difference in trigger pull. Did some research and confirmed that factory set pull is ridiculous on the axis. Tighter patterns were immediate after simple installation, not to mention the great price! Excellent service.
The upgrades worked as implied. The install was not difficult . I did fine even with deviated methods. The Video are great . If, like me you have a background in mechanical assemble, you will find that very easy. If not just pay attention to the videos.
so i was worried this kit was gunna be a scam or worse junk. man i know one thing that trigger is on point now.. if your thinking about it just do it. you wont be sorry. i promise!!
