Works as described... Easy to install, and took a decent but hardly exciting trigger and turned it into one that feels much nicer than what one would expect to find on a $300 rifle. I used the 3.5 lb. spring, which have me a trigger that will be great for hunting this fall: light enough to squeeze off shots accurately, but not so light as to fire prematurely or feel at all unsafe.
The out-of-box Axis trigger is just horrible. I did what I usually do, hone both sides of any moving parts on a fine sharpening stone then polish with crocus cloth. Don't touch the engagement surfaces, just where the parts rub against each other. It was better but still needed work. After installing the pro spring kit (which couldn't be any easier) with the washers and over-travel stop it is now a great trigger. I would highly recommend this kit!
Simple to install. Video is very detailed. Took 10 minutes to install and reduced my trigger pull by a lot.
This setup takes a good cheap gun and gives it what it is missing, a nice trigger pull. If you are on the ropes about buying this don’t be this product is high quality and very easy to install with step by step instructions on YouTube.
Easy to install, the spring and over travel stop screw were easy to install. Shims, like all shims, a bit of fun with some toothpicks to install. This kit drastically improved the trigger on this Axis rifle. I simulated some buttstock drops onto a hard surface with the rifle unloaded. No accidental discharges from a couple of three foot drops. Very impressed.
Hello, article received in a week in France, mounted in fifteen minutes. Measured at 1kg500. Direct start and eliminated the lateral game. Surely the best change to make on a Savage Axis. Thank you for your professionalism MCarbo ...!
Worked perfectly. Easy to install. Kit had everything you needed but thread locker.
Ordered the Axis Pro trigger kit. Got it in two days. Very easy to install because of the video. Wow what a difference it made. Was about 6lbs. Now about 3lbs. Great communication with this company.
After install, used both spring and shims, shots went from random high and right mostly all over the top of the paper to a tight group within 1/2 inch. Went with lighter spring resulting in a consistent 2.5 lbs pull and shims for no wobble, previously various from 6.5 to 8.5 lbs and slight to side trigger movement. Didn’t see in video where to place shims, figured out with help of fellow firearms enthusiast though.
After i ordered the parts and they got delivered before the target delivery date. The install was effortless and took about 5 mins, MCARBO actually sent me a part specific install video showing how to install the parts via email , I though that was a nice touch. This kit did everything it said it would do and more !
Using the video I easily converted my Savage Axis to the 2.5 lb trigger in just a few minutes. The improvement is outstanding!
Item was shipped quick and very easy to install, it does make a big diference, never thought this kit wiould changed the trigger pull this smooth.....thx for this product...
I purchased the trigger pro spring kit for my Axis rifle. It was easy to install using the step by step video. Delivery was fast. The trigger pull is a lot better now than it was from factory. I like about a 2.5 pull trigger and this feels great versus the 6 lb. pull from factory. I would highly recommend this product.

Purchased this because the 6 pound trigger pull was way to much. And then trigger movement was not great. mCarbo product did what is said it was going to do. Very happy with the results. And easy install. I would recommend this product.
