took a few minutes to install and it is worlds better than the factory spring, the shims with the added grease make the pull smooth and light, definately get this for your axis, adding a 100 dollar+ trigger to a budget hunting rifle kinda defeats the purpose of buying a budget rifle

The trigger kit for the savage axis was easy to install and the difference is unbelievable. The kit took all of the side play out of the trigger and reduced the trigger pull weight by half!
This made what was an awful trigger pull into a 2.5 lb crisp, clean break! Easy to install and well worth the price!

As most owners of a great shooting rifle it deserves a great trigger. I searched around for a trigger kit that wouldn’t break the bank but work! I found the mcarbo web site and watched the online video of the install and decided on the pro kit. Coustmer service was great with a follow up from mcarbo to ensure all was as promised, and boy was it. Stock trigger was as tough as nails to pull broke at close to 6lbs. Install of the mcarbo trigger kit took every bit of 10 min to install and made the trigger pull crisp and around 3-4 lbs. imo for the price of the kit. I made a good choice to purchase this kit. I will do my business with mcarbo in the future.

Service was excellent, product shipped next day. Class act on all fronts. Install took about 10 min. Dropped trigger to 3.75 lbs starting trigger was well over 5 lbs. Tapped on trigger assembly, drop tested from 2 ft onto butt end of stock, trigger remained solid and safe. Eliminated over travel. Highly recommend. If you want to increase the shoot ability of the savage axis. My 12 yr old daughter is killing clay birds at 200 yds and is ready for deer. Owe alot to the trigger.
This kit is super easy to install and really helps with both trigger pull and with side-to-side wobble. Absolutely can’t beat it for the price. If you follow their instruction video it’s a one-shot, no-adjustment-needed install and you’ll be done in 10 minutes at the most.
1st thing you need if you have an Savage Axis. Cut he trigger pull force in half and removed all the side/side play. The kit is well worth money. Go from hard & sloppy to light & crisp in about 5 minutes.

I bought a new savage axis and the trigger pull was very stiff probably the worst I have personally felt, I was looking up solutions to this problem and a lot of the solutions were very expensive ( over 100.00) I happen to see this pro trigger kit from MCarbo for just under 20.00 , I received it very quickly and installed the kit in about 10 minutes , I used the spring recommended for hunting and I can’t believe the difference it made, this trigger is awesome now, don’t hesitate on buying this kit you won’t regret it, I have since bought 2 more trigger spring kits from them, I can’t wait to feel the difference they make, very easy step by step video instructions! Was having trouble with trigger pull. This kit has made the trigger so much smoother and has helped make my groups much smaller. I am very impressed with this kit.
Great trigger upgrade, took roughly 10 minutes to install, I installed the 3.5 lb trigger spring a huge improvement over the 6 lb stock trigger spring. I haven’t tested the 2.5 lb spring but may install it to see if I like it. I usually do not run anything less than 3 lb spring for safety reasons. Great kit. Try it.
