Great trigger upgrade, took roughly 10 minutes to install, I installed the 3.5 lb trigger spring a huge improvement over the 6 lb stock trigger spring. I haven’t tested the 2.5 lb spring but may install it to see if I like it. I usually do not run anything less than 3 lb spring for safety reasons. Great kit. Try it.
Parts were great, installation video was great. Easily did my kit upgrade in less than 30 minutes with the 2.5 lb spring. However after completion & testing it with a digital trigger pull scale, it was only about 1-1.5 lbs. I did all the safety checks & it passed. But that was just too light for a hunting rifle. So I installed the 3.5 lb spring. easy. Now the trigger pull reads about 2-2.5 lbs. Shims worked great as well. I actually like this trigger than my Axis II with the acccu trigger. Great product at a great price. thanks
Perfect upgrade for the crap factory trigger. Came with a 3.5 and 2.5 lb setup. So much better than the hard factory grit! Best 20 bucks I've spent in a long time!
The Savage Axis Pro Trigger kit is a great upgrade for your Savage Axis rifle. It is easy to install and you will be very pleased with the results. The shims in the kit take out the side to side movement that the trigger had in it before. After the upgrade it has a very nice and consistent trigger pull and has improved my accuracy too. I highly recommend this product!
I didn't know my Axis had a crappy trigger until I learned what a good trigger should feel like and this kit turned it into a good trigger. If this upgrade takes you more than 5 minutes to install you should give all of your tools away and never touch one again..okay I'm kidding but it really only takes 5 minutes and it's a great upgrade without the hassle of going to the store multiple times hunting around for the right parts. Shipping is fast even to Canada. Customer service and communication from the m*carbo staff is second to none.
Fantastic upgrade. So simple. Only 10 minutes and makes such a difference. Don't buy a Timney for $120.00 when this kit will do the job for a fraction of the cost.

This kit made a huge difference in my son’s .223 youth rifle. I don’t have a trigger pull scale but it makes the trigger much lighter.
i ordered the kit after watching the video .i installed it last night with the laptop playing i was able to easily to the trigger upgrade.the video makes it super easy.the grease holds the washers in place and make everything smooth.after the final assembly i function tested it .everything works fine the trigger is now nice and crisp with an easy pull.i will range test it tomorrow and will update late
Bought an Axis I as a project rifle and I'll say this is the best $20 upgrade you can put on it. The pull weight was greatly improved (sorry, I don't own a guage to give exact weights) and I was able to completely remove all over travel.
If you have a axis you need this.easy to install and make sure you polish your trigger.
The install was easy and fast thanks to the video. The kit makes it feel like a totally different gun. Great product, I highly recommend it!
I bought this kit for my savage axis xp that had a really heavy trigger pull, the 3.5# spring is what I used and installation was super easy after watching the video on YouTube. The trigger pull is so much better and the shims that were included helped with the side to side play!

Savage Axis is a great gun with a mass produced trigger. This kit cleans it up nicely. Well worth the money.
I bought two of these kits. One for my daughters 243 axis and another for my step dads 270. Both guns ran 6.5lbs before install. With the upgrade they are both running @ 2.75lbs. The shootability of both rifles is dramatically improved. I definitely recommend this kit.
