I bought this kit for my savage axis xp that had a really heavy trigger pull, the 3.5# spring is what I used and installation was super easy after watching the video on YouTube. The trigger pull is so much better and the shims that were included helped with the side to side play!

Savage Axis is a great gun with a mass produced trigger. This kit cleans it up nicely. Well worth the money.
I bought two of these kits. One for my daughters 243 axis and another for my step dads 270. Both guns ran 6.5lbs before install. With the upgrade they are both running @ 2.75lbs. The shootability of both rifles is dramatically improved. I definitely recommend this kit.
A friend of mine recommended this product, gave me the name of the website, I ordered the kit. The kit arrived in less than a week, about 20 minutes later the kit was installed. The trigger was smooth and I am ready to get back to the range to check out how much the grouping is improved.

Best rifle upgrade I've ever done for $20. Very easy to install and improved my trigger significantly. My original trigger broke around 6lbs and had some lateral movement. I used the 3.5lb spring with the shims and it's breaking a consistent 3.6-3.8lbs. Significant upgrade for my savage axis rifle.
In put this in a buddies Gen1 Axis in 223 that had that awful factory trigger in it and because of that you could not get anything better than 4" groups at 100 yards. He is now shooting 1" or smaller groups after this upgrade.
The spring and shim kit were very easy to install. Mine came with the 2.5 and 3.5 springs. I liked the 3.5 best. It really helped pull the shots together for me.
This was the easiest and fastest trigger upgrade I have ever done. Improved the rife performance 100%. Well worth the money!
Upon receiving my Savage Axis, I found the trigger to be very sloppy with a lot of creep. After installing the Savage Axis Pro Trigger Kit, the trigger break is crisp and smooth. Very satisfied with this kit and the company.
