What an easy upgrade to a budget gun. The install was straightforward and included parts that came as feedback so they listen to their customers. I initially installed the lightest spring in my axis but found that to be a little too light for hunting. Switched to the medium spring and it is perfect. Went to the range and shot a few rounds through it to verify my work. The install video was great too.
I installed this kit with the 2.5lb trigger on my Savage Axis .308 along with replacing the stock with an LSS chassis from MDT. The two in combination increased accuracy to sub-MOA after zeroing at 100 yards. Totally worth it!
Installed kit on recently purchased Savage Axis 350 Legend. Installation was very simple and I was extremely satisfied with the results. Now have a rifle with a 2.5 lb. trigger pull and very little over travel. Thanks MCarbo

Great packaging, quick delivery and quality product. The only reason for a 4 star is I had to cut a coil off of the 2.5 to get my trigger pull down to 3.4 pounds. Even tried the 3.5 spring and pull was 5.6 and I cut a coil off to get it to 4.7 Before I started my trigger pull was 6.5lbs. I'm Sure there may be some other issues with the factory tolerances. The shims took out the excess trigger side to side movement. Real happy with the final results.

Great product, fast delivery, easy to install. This product made my grouping at 100 yards go from a quarter size group to a nickel size. The trigger is crisp and clean pull with no wiggle.

I have purchased 3 of these kits to use in a .308 .243 and a 350 legend took the average pull from 6.1 to 3.4 on all 3 firearms!! Must have if you own a savage axis!!! Thanks Guys for a great product!!!!!
So, I haven't been to the range yet. I'm headed there tomorrow evening. However, the quality of the parts are top notch. The shims were a fantastic idea, and all but eliminated the side to side wobble entirely. Furthermore, it DRAMATICALLY reduced the weight needed to squeeze the trigger. The gun no longer moves when I dry fire it. I can't wait to put rounds through the gun again. This is the first of a few modifications to this rifle to enhance its capabilities.
Had my brother order 2 kits for axis 22 250 mine pulled left being a lefty used usmc sight breathing sight picture trigger control and breathing still sucked. Put this kit in and now your standard axis trigger is sweet no need for accuracy trigger put this in and you will love it takes 10 minutes
I was actually here to grab a trigger spring for a ruger american, but grabbed a savge kit while I was at it. My son's scoutmaster uses a savage axis. I helped him with developing a handload and the requisite range work. The trigger was atrocious. This kit took his trigger from 87 ozs down to an average 34 ozs. He was astounded at the improvement.
Read the reviews and watched the video before ordering. Easy to install, however I had to heat up the adhesive on the stock spring to get it out. Just used a butane lighter. Don't have a trigger pull scale but it is noticably lighter and I don't feel like the gun jerks when the trigger releases. I am confident my groups will be smaller.
I never realized how much this kit helped. Literally night and day. I used the 2.5 spring and hot dawg that thing is smooooooth! I may however switch for the 3.5 but I wanted to try the 2.5 first. Literally just follow the video and your done took me a grand total of 5 mins to install. Very satisfied. If I get another axis you bet your sweet ass this'll be the first thing I do!
This kit is a GAME CHANGER.....The trigger on my axis is smoother and lighter than the drop in kit I put in my AR. Its SUPER SIMPLE to install....I mean I figured it out so anybody can do it. The differenfe is NIGHT AND DAY.....its a better trigger than on my rifles that cost twice as much now. Havent had a chance to take it to the range, still doing some more work on other aspects of it....but this trigger....JUST GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
