Works as described...easy to install and makes the Axis trigger actually functional for a normal person.
I love it. Factory trigger tested inconsistently between 5.5 and 6.7 lbs on my 6.5. With this, I added the 2.5lb spring and it is bang on. Consistent, crisp 2.5-2.8. Cant be beat for the price.
The trigger that was on the gun originally SUCKED ! It was real heavy with a lot of take up and over travel. After I put this set in as per the video I was amazed to find that the creap was almost nonexistent and the break was crisp with no over travel. At first I thought that the price was a lil steal, but afterwards I am glad I purchased it. You will be to.
I couldn’t believe it, but it worked. I’m not sure what it brought the weight down to, but it is very noticeable. Great product and very easy to install.
The trigger kit is amazing. It was very easy to install thanks to the simplicity of the product. The difference is night and day. Accuracy rates are definitely going to go up.

For 12 bucks I reduced my trigger pull significantly. My cheap gun now has the same trigger pull i would expect out of a much more expensive gun. Clean crisp pull and super simple to install.
The Savage axis is a cheap. I actually hated the rifle after I purchased it. But @ 190$ why not try it out right? Well the trigger was like pulling a massive truck through gravel with it's ebrake on using only your finger. I put the pro kit from MCarbo on and put the over travel screw at the suggested flush position. Super easy, comes with lube and shims and like a Camp Pendleton barracks bunnie it all went in easy and was a real pleasure. I run Jewell's and timney elites that operate on the same level as this pro kit. I absolutely love what it has done to my axis.
At the time I write this there are 1011 5 star reviews. If you own a Savage Axis this is beyond well worth the money. Lowering the weight of your trigger press will greatly increase your accuracy. With this I now have a three shot grouping where all the bullet holes touch. Amazing upgrade for a budget rifle.

I bought the Savage Axis Pro kit. It lightened the trigger pull to about 4.5 pounds. I thought it would be lighter than that. The shim washers took all of the side to side slop out of the trigger though. Would be five stars if the trigger pull was lighter.
I don't leave reviews unless something blows me away or really disappoints me. For $20, this is unreal. Factory trigger on my basic Axis350 legend was 7lbs. Measured with a basic wheeler trigger gauge. After installing the "heavier" 3.5lb trigger return spring along with the rest of the kit per the video instructions, the pull dropped to 2.25lbs on the same gauge. There's no reason to even try the 2.5lb spring. Dropped the rifle on its butt end of the stock a few times from about 1.5-2ft to see if the trigger would release with the safety off- good news; it did not release. One of the best $20 I've ever spent.
I was amazed with the new trigger pull on my Savage Axis. The 40% reduction makes it feel like a hair trigger and has improved my consistency tremendously. The factory trigger pull was horrible and I wasn't shooting consistently. Installation was extremely easy, took less than 5 minutes to take apart the trigger and throw the spring in.
easy to install shot 1/2 box of 243hornady trigger is smooth as glass. also love that you send stickers just like magnus another company where i buy razor broadheads to hunt no chinese junk the also send stickers love them out of great bend, kansas you archers check them out nothing flies like a magnus broadhead nothing!! thank you kenny k
My wife actually won her Axis in a raffle. Its an Axis XP so no accu-trigger. My fathers Axis has the accu-trigger. We were thinking about buying an accu-trigger and installing it as an upgrade. Figured we would try this kit first. SO worth the money. I installed it with the 2.5 pound spring. It started with a 6 pound pull on average. Once I got this kit installed as I put the new Boyds stock on it brought it down to a 2 pound 10 ounce pull. Smooth and clean trigger pull. The washers that go in to take out the slack took out all of the slack so the trigger is stable, smooth and light pull. Best bang for your buck trigger job you will ever install.
