This has got to be the best trigger kit I have gotten here. The trigger is so buttery smooth now with a lighter pull. I used the 3.5lb spring.
I just purchased a used Savage Axis. The gent said it had less than 200 rounds through it and it was apparent he only cleaned the bore and wipred the bolt. Using a Wheeler digital trigger pull gage the average of 10 test pre-installation was 4lbs 3.1ozs After installing the kit and using the 2.5lb spring... The average of 10 test post-installation was 3lbs 4.8ozs So, on my rifle about a 20-25% improvement. I did notice that the bushings made the trigger a perfect slip fit, and the consistency of the trigger pulls was better than pre-install. Worth the money and few minutes to install. MCarbo makes good products.
My kit arrived in a timely manner and I immediately went to work. The kit is as advertised, good quality and packaged nicely. The instructional video was easy to follow and made installation a breeze. Mcarbo folks are easy to deal with and responded to a question I had. Easiest trigger job I have done. Completed in less than 10 minutes with a nice crisp 2 1/2 pound trigger pull with minimal side to side trigger movement. Great job M-Carbo!
This kit was very simple to install. Immediately felt like a whole new rifle, no side to side wiggle, shortened travel and crisp break. Took it to the range bragging about the trigger kit and never got to fire it. A friend dry fired it and paid me cash on the spot. Thanks MCarbo for providing American made parts from badass Veterans!
Definitely made the trigger waaaay better! This kit is as advertised! You won't be disappointed! The install video made the swap a piece of cake! Can't wait to shoot it! This company should be a model for other companies on how to treat a customer!
Great product, the 2.5 trigger spring works perfect. Easy to install and great video's, defiantly recommend this product.
not satisfied with product. Purchased two kits installed in similar rifles with 2.5 lb spring. First rifle has 4 lb pull second 1.75 lb pull. My preference is 2.5 and under but not 4.

I watched the MCarbo video. From start to finish took 10 minutes. My trigger pull went from an outrageous 6 1/2 pounds ans currently 2 1/2. Fantastic product. Put the trigger shims in also. I immediately ordered 3 more sets for my boys.
I received my Savage Axis Pro Trigger kit before the scheduled delivery date. I followed the mcarbo video on YouTube and it was very detailed and informative. It didn't take long to complete the upgrade from the factory tripper pull to an awesome 2.5 trigger pull in just a short while. I have worked on all military weapons doing complete rebuild and modifying them for almost 20 years. I am extremely happy with the products I buy from mcarbo. Your service and parts are next to none. If you have a Savage Axis this is the only way to go. It will improve your accuracy by 100%.
The product was shipped immediately and the installation was very simple. Especially with the company provided installation video. The product works great.
I just bought the rifle and trigger kit. My rifle had a stiff green trigger spring. I installed the 3.5# spring but did not need either of the shims. This really improved the trigger pull. Also i could not put the set screw flush i had to leave it out an 1/8" for trigger operation clearance. Works great , Mcarbo is the best , I would highly recommend. SF guys know there shit.
